Best Western Delphi Hotel

Sa situation géographique / quartier très plaisant et le prix. Notamment celui de la chambre individuelle pour l'amie, qui nous accompagnait durant ce séjour.

L'hotel n'est que partiellement restauré. La décoration des chambres est un peu démodée. J'avais demandé deux chambres au calme et la double que je partageais avec mon époux était mitoyenne avec celle d'un couple avec bébé. Nous fûmes réveillés à 2h du matin par les cris de l'enfant puis à 7h par les parents qui se disputaient.

Calme transoprt public

Cet hôtel se trouve dans une rue calme, est bien desservi par le tram, très proche des musées, le centre est accessible à pied. On peut laisser sa voiture dans un parking pour 6 euros par jour .

Le petit déjeuner manque d'originalité .

Le petit déjeuner a disparu a 10h au lieux de 10h30 comme annoncé et pendant le repas le personnel passe l'aspirateur dans la salle en vous demandant de vous déplacer.

Staff, location, breakfast

The bed is awfull, very cold in the room, the old furniture (inspite of 4 stars), very small room, no bath

A pleasant hotel in nice quiet location. within 100 yards of tram stop and line [Just the right distance] Our room was reasonably sized (had paid a little more than minimum). Breakfasts simple but ok. easily walkable into centre of Amsterdam - or nearer areas - but well away from the 'boozy weekend' crowd. Will be quite happy to stay in this hotel again.

The complimentary tea/coffee from the bar was nice - but as an englishman I prefer to make tea with boiling water and fresh milk - not merely hot + with coffee creamer. a small niggle.

Friendly staff, and close to tram station. Breakfast was ok, but not four star. Everything was fine on the whole though, and the staff made porridge as a treat for the ones who, like me, were going to run the marathon - very nice!

It is available to park on the street around the hotel. But it might be hard to find out the space as it is always busy.

I liked the ceiling where I could breathe fresh Amsterdam air.

The matress which was very old, the bed unconfortable.and the reception staff that did not care about this.

Hotel was quiet and it was very close to the RAI conference location. also was very close to the # 5 and # 24 tram to the city center

The beds need to be replaced with new matteresses, they were very uncomfortable. The desk needs to be larger with more access to electrical power for multiple items such as phone chargers, laptop computers, ipod, etc etc

I would have enjoyed some fresh fruits at breakfast, which unfortunately were not on the menu.

the room I stayed in was tiny

I wouldn't give it 4* barely 3*; too small, old shakey furniture,no air condition,no mini bar (contrary to your description) breakfast was o.k,it was hard to lift the windw in order to open it, in short maybe recently refurbished but still rubbish!
