A hotel with character and very well located for access to Hilversum. Not quite up to the standard of its sister hotel in Hilversum - the Laeperhoek. Noisy at the weekend. Lack of a hotel bar/restaurant was a major minus. Decor needs a some attention. Understaffed at breakfast with various items running out and having to be requested.

Staff were very good - friendly, helpful, professional, competitent. While the rooms were very clean, spacious, an updated TV would be nice. Found the reception area in need of refurbishment.

It was quiet and, although the room was simple, it was very comfortable. The heating worked well and you could set it to what you wanted. Excellent internet access. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Really excellent location, close to resturants, central station ets.... It realy reflects the beauty of Hilversum. No Gym.

Great location, superfriendly staff and reception. Love the style, the building and the spacey rooms. The following is meant in a constructive way: It is a great hotel, the staff is super friendly and I am a regular guest and will continue to visit, but I have an important point of criticism is: please clean the shower better. In room 307 (but I do remember having seen it in other rooms too) there are years of old caked soap/calcium inside and outside. A bit of antical and the likes would probably eliminate the problem in no time

Nothing, theHotel shows 4 stars on the front, but 1 or 2 stars would be closer to the truth. To much noise, next to a church that ring their bells every 15 minutes for I don't know how many times. Tv didn't work. Some lights were broken. Etc

The location is good near to shops and nightlife , difficult To get to the hotel but after that you don,t need you car any more, the village has a lot to offer and the hotel is in the middle of centre of all of this , Breakfurst was low key , but every thing you need was there so good value for money

Just right, excellent location, very close to city centre. Was delighted to find out there's free WiFi. For a four star hotel I would have expected it to be better, but being there for a conference was fine.

The hotel is 10 minutes' walk from the station and convenient for the centre of Hilversum: the mediapark is within easy walking distance. Rooms were large and bright, with access to a balcony that runs across the front of the building. Despite being close to the road there wasn't much traffic noise. Breakfast is simple but adequate. The decor is all rather shabby, and the mattress was very lumpy. The window mechanism was very stiff and difficult to operate.

Hilversum is an ideal place in the centre of the the Netherlands in which to base a stay. The hotel is a quirky art decor hotel, excellently located within easy walking distance of the station, restaurants, shops etc. We had a ovely big room at the front. The ice cream in the adjacent ice cream parlour is to die for! The front steps were dirty giving the wrong impression of the cleanliness inside.

Location I had problems checking in. Dirty and old, would need a lot of mainteinance. I can't believe that big dutch people could fit in such a small bed, I am japanese and it was small even for me. Not a 4 star hotel at all, it's barely a 3 star. No minibar. We had to ask for some toilet paper, meaning that they didn't check. Complete disappointment. Not recommended.

Position, and just the position. Not a 4 star! The staff lost our booking confirmation and we had problems checking in. The hotel is dirty, old and smelly. Rooms are very small, double beds are in fact 1 &1/2, unconfortable. Usually 4 star hotels change sheets every day or two, they didn'T. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Het lag nabij het winkelcentrum. Eenvoudig ontbijt wel lekker, kamer met balkon. Vriendelijkheid van de zaterdagmorgen medewerker aan de receptie, was meer met facebook bezig dan met klanten. Kamer was matig schoon, veel stof op de kamer. prijs kwaliteit viel tegen
