Position, and just the position.

Not a 4 star! The staff lost our booking confirmation and we had problems checking in. The hotel is dirty, old and smelly. Rooms are very small, double beds are in fact 1 &1/2, unconfortable. Usually 4 star hotels change sheets every day or two, they didn'T. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Great location, superfriendly staff and reception. Love the style, the building and the spacey rooms.

The following is meant in a constructive way: It is a great hotel, the staff is super friendly and I am a regular guest and will continue to visit, but I have an important point of criticism is: please clean the shower better. In room 307 (but I do remember having seen it in other rooms too) there are years of old caked soap/calcium inside and outside. A bit of antical and the likes would probably eliminate the problem in no time

Nothing, theHotel shows 4 stars on the front, but 1 or 2 stars would be closer to the truth.

To much noise, next to a church that ring their bells every 15 minutes for I don't know how many times. Tv didn't work. Some lights were broken. Etc

The hotel is not that old as written in some feedbacks. There are much worse places in Amsterdam for a much more expensive price. I found it very good, near the station, near bars, restaurants and so on.

The staff was very nice.

The breakfast buffet was overpriced.

Beds are awful! The hotel is not really a 4 star standard,more like a 3 star hotel. For one night it works but not more.

The hotel is 10 minutes' walk from the station and convenient for the centre of Hilversum: the mediapark is within easy walking distance. Rooms were large and bright, with access to a balcony that runs across the front of the building. Despite being close to the road there wasn't much traffic noise. Breakfast is simple but adequate.

The decor is all rather shabby, and the mattress was very lumpy. The window mechanism was very stiff and difficult to operate.

Check in speed and location

Rooms feel bare and dated. I first stayed at the hotel 15 yrs ago and it seems that nothing has changed since then.

Location, comfort/room size & very clean rooms and service at desk. Booked through Expedia and received an excellent rate for two rooms.

There are staff who are not friendly

The breakfast was nice although we had to wait for milk as there was no one around to ask. Sadly I can't think of anything else that we liked.

We were sent to a unmade up room. 2 out of the 3 rooms we had booked wer'nt ready. The hotel is in need of a makeover.The whole place needs a good clean.My hart sank as I saw the rubbish outside the hotel entrance. The curtains did'nt shut properly in our room. Children could easily fall out of the windows as they are very low, you need them open as there is no air con. Our room needed a good hoover in the corners , and the window sill behind the curtain was full of dirt.

I liked the relaxed and efficient manner of the staff and the hotel layout.
