Hampshire City Hotel - Hengelo  

Very curteous staff, clean rooms and excellent location at a good price, all you need from a hotel

Hot water was not working due to a fault in the morning - we were offered free breakfast as compensation and heartfelt apologies by the hotel staff who were quite embarrased by this failure.

There was no minibar in the room, nither wifi connection in the room

The room was beautifully designed, well cleaned, modern and very spacious. Coffee and tea making facilities present.

The room was overheated. We were forced to sleep with the window open, but happened to be bothered by loud talking in the middle of the night. As the hotel is very centrally located in Hengelo, obviously this can be expected on a Saturday night. However, it would have been better if it would not have been so warm in the room so we would have been able to close the window.

Good comfortable hotel with godd bar and adequate breakfast

I chose the hotel for it's proximity to Twente Enschede's football stadium. The hotel was excellent on many counts - the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I would return without hesitation,

Location was excellent! A five minute walk from the train station and just a stones throw away from center of Hengelo. This hotel also had large rooms which was a nice break from the smaller cramped rooms in other parts of the Netherlands. Good value for the money!

no hotel parking ,there is pay carpark opposite hotel which can be expensive if your on budget .

Hotel staff is very friendly and kindness. Hotel room is very clean. Comfortable hotel.

In this stay, my room does not have a bathtub. Only shower room.

Location is perfect in the city center neat bars & restaurants. Rooms are ok (no Wow!) good business Standard

No wlan in the rooms (only cable wich of cours is less convenient for smartphones). Parking is quite expensive for such a small town (14€/night)

Short walk from station. Nice quiet good-sized room. Good breakfast. Well run hotel that was comfortable and good value for money.

Everything suited our requirements and we have no negative comments

The location, it's very central. In the city center at less than a 5 minutes walk from the train and bus station, yet at night you don't have any problems with excessive noise.

The night I stayed there was a warm night, in the rooms it was very hot and the hotel does not have any form of climate control.

I looked at the web reviews before booking this hotel. Most reviews gave 8.5 and I concur with this. Location was great, with very friendly staff. Room was good, clean and comfortable. I chose the Hotel for its location, as it was central to Train station/shops and cafe's/Restaurants, for after business hours.
