Best Western Hotel Spaander  

It is located in a very nice place, just in front of the sea, in a pedestrian zone riches of shops and restaurants. You can easily go in Amsterdam by public transport. It has a very nice swimming pool and three different kinds of sauna. The rooms are spacious and typical sea furnished. I suggest this place also because it is really close to a no traffic zone along the sea ideal for running.

The location was great!

The roadblocks at certain times of the day were a hassle. but that's the cities fault not the hotel.

I thought that the view from my room was fantastic, loved the hotel in general. Very clean and very nice staff. Food was excellent, would recomend to anyone.

I did think that the room I had could have been a bit bigger, shower was not too impressive water poured out all over the floor. My biggest disappointment was no Coffee making facilities in the room, every hotel should have one. I would stay again but only if this ittem was added to the rooms.

Hotel Spaander is right in the heart of Volendam - a little village on the lake outside Amsterdam (near Edam). It's in a beautiful old building with great artwork displayed thoughout! Our room overlooked a laneway - rather than the lake. It was quaint and fairly comfortable.

We love Volendam, so Best Western Spaander was a very comfortable hotel close to everything.We enjoyed our stay

The hotel is in the main street of Volendam, so close to food, shops etc without being too noisy. The hotel itself was very nice with plush furnishings etc. The room and facilities were great - the bed wasnt too comfortable though. It was great to open the balcony door and watch the sun rise over the ocean from our bed. Request a "lake side view" if possible. It was fantastic.

There was 2 single beds pushed together for a double room - complete with single blankets etc. It was very uncomfortable to snuggle in.

ik vond de kamer best aan de prijs en vond het eigenlijk best raar dat het ontbijt er niet bij zat

Vriendelijke baliemedewerkers. Nette ruime kamer met matig(geen)uitzicht. Keek uit op een tussen goot met inkijk van en bij andere kamers

De prijs vond ik toch wel wat hoog omdat het ontbijtbuffet apart betaald moest worden en dat was geen culinair hoogstandje of te wel eenvoudig

De gezellige ambiance van het totaal. Historie en traditie waren fraai qua inrichting en architectuur met de moderne vereisten van deze tijd verenigd. Dit geldt voor het buitenaanzicht, de kamers, zitruimten, restaurantgedeelten etc... Zowel grotere gezelschappen als individuele gasten voelen zich hier op hun gemak. Het restaurant was prima. Het grote eigen parkeerterrein direkt bij het hotel, alsmede de centrale ligging ervan in het centrum bij de dijk is erg handig. Dat de in- en uitrijtijden naar de dijk toe aan regels zijn gebonden, neem je graag voor lief.

Geen aanmerkingen tijdens ons (overigens kort) verblijf.

Nous avons séjourné au Spaander pour la 6ème fois, nous adorons cet hotel pour sa tranquillité, son charme.

L'amabilité du personnel du bar laisse à désirer.
