For special occasions you need a special dining experience. The modern Serre Restaurant with its glass roof is situated on the ground floor of the hotel. This unique, light space, with its splendid view of the hotel’s beautiful courtyard, is also the setting for the delightful breakfast buffet in the mornings.
In the restaurant De Gravin you can dine below one of the characteristic, romantic arches in the basement of “Huize van de Kasteele". The restaurant has given the atmosphere of centuries ago a modern touch.
With 71 guest rooms and 3 luxurious suites, you’ll have a wide choice of rooms. Under the ridge of the roof, hood with authentic 17th-century construction, there are suites, each with their unique device.
A number of hotel rooms offer an authentic feel and have a view of Zutphen’s beautiful 's Gravenhof and St Walburge’s Church.

The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the location is superb - the entree is characteristic. At 11pm we did not find any staff at either the bar or the reception - someone seemed to respond from a basement behind the reception but nevertheless did not seem to be in hurry so we gave up... |

Beautiful central settting, good food and great terrace for eating outside The Royal Suite I stayed in was badly lit, and only 1 small window. In addition there was no air condiitoning and as the room is on the top floor in the roof - it was very hot at night. The hotel supplied ineffective fans, but really additional skylights and air conditioning should be provided |

it is in the center of the city have to go up or down stairs to take elevator...not so convenient when you have luggage. The room was VERY small. Didn't xpect that. They should put a picture or info about those small narrow- rooms. |

De 1 persoonskamer zag er netjes en schoon uit. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig. Het personeel was vriendelijk. Het inchecken verliep lekker vlot. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en smaakvol. De badkamer had de kleinste douchecabine die ik ooit heb meegemaakt. Eigenlijk heel grappig en complimenten voor de ontwerpers die alles in een kleine ruimte hebben gemaakt ;-) |

Het hotel is mooi gelegen in Zutphen. Het heeft een mooie oud hoofdgebouw met diverse kamers in stijl. Het aangebouwde deel met ontbijtruimte is fraai geintegreerd. De brasserie is klein ,knus en van deze tijd.Het personeel mocht wat attenter zijn. Personeel in de brasserie was niet erg enthousiast, een nieuw jaarsdipje? |

Vriendelijk personeel, uitstekende ligging. Badkamer was niet overal even goed schoongemaakt. Wastafel was zo oud, dat de bak bruin verkleurd was. Het bed was uit-de-tijd klein: 140 breedte is toch echt allang uit de tijd... |
