the hotel was nice and small, cosy and the decoration was modern we were at the front of the hotel, where it was very noisy at night (even though there were double-glazed windows) |

I thought the staff were great - very friendly. The room was chic and plenty big for the 3 of us guys on a motorcycle trip. Bathroom was extra nice. Location on the Vrijthof beyond compare. A bit of a hike up the stairs to the top floor - good exercise, though. |

Friendly atmosphere. The food was great. The terrace and restaurant were always occupied and not only with tourists, but also local people. That gave a nice impression and in the same time was it not too crowded. |

Central location, the idea of the hotel with "ambiance" is good. The downstairs bar is nicely decorated. The rooms could have a bit more "soul", now they seem a bit too plain. It would be better to have wooden floors in the rooms, the carpet at least in my room was quite thick and I can't imagine that it can be cleaned easily very thoroughly. Also, a full length mirror would be good to have in the room (always important for women..) |

it is placed in the complete center of Maastricht near to shopping area, restaurants, historical part of the city. perfect placement in a really stylish, modern, beautiful and comfortable Hotel. nice the glass door for the bathroom heheh! |

This proved to be an excellent choice of hotel for us. We wanted somewhere central, with parking. Its a small, simple, but very modern and clean hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The night we stayed there was a special event - champagne tasting, with oysters (free to us as guests) followed by an excellent 3 course champagne meal with wine (50 euros). We would go back! |

The room was modern, clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in an excellent location. The Cabane restaurant and bar downstairs are hip and trendy and give a nice flair. This wasn't really a proper hotel, more like a low/no-service room rental. For the fairly high price and the wannabe contemporary style, I expected at least basic services like Internet connection, maps and city information in the reception, and daily cleaning of the room. None of this provided. Also minus for the steep stairs, lack of bathroom door (!) and non-existent sound isolation. |

Mooie kamer en goede bedden. Midden op het Vrijthof, dus de ligging is prima. Er hing een rioollucht en het was erg koud op de kamer en in de badkamer, ondanks de verwarming. Geen parkeergelegenheid, dus duur parkeren in de parkeergarage. |

Locatie is midden op het Vrijthof dus dat is geweldig als je ervan houdt om in het stadscentrum te zitten. Aankleding van het hotel is erg leuk. Ontbijten (hebben we niet gedaan) maar is mogelijk tot 12 uur. Parkeren voor 12,50 op korte loopafstand is niet duur. Wij waren rond half 12 bij het hotel en konden al inchecken en parkeren. De deur van de badkamer/toilet is van helder glas en zit naast het bed. Je kunt dus vanuit het bed (of eigenlijk vanuit de hele kamer) de ander op toilet zien zitten of onder de douche zien staan. Er is geen ruimte in de kamer om even ergens anders te gaan zitten om de ander wat privacy te geven. Dit is echt heel vervelend! Voor hoteleigenaar makkelijk op te lossen door af te plakken met stickervellen waardoor de deur ondoorzichtig wordt. Verder hangt er in de hal en op de badkamer een beetje een rioollucht. |

Wij kwamen op de dag van aankomst eigenlijk te vroeg voor het inchecken van 14.00, om onze bagage alvast af te geven, maar mochten toch meteen van een al schoongemaakte kamer gebruik maken. Het toilet spoelde niet goed door. |

Vriendelijke ontvangst, zeer ruime kamer en zeer ruime, splinternieuwe design badkamer. Uitstekende ligging, smakelijk en verzorgd ontbijt. Er is geen lift, op zich voor ons geen probleem, maar voor wie zware koffers heeft echt niet praktisch.Er hing een muf geurtje in onze kamer en badkamer. |
