The intimate Hotel Van Den Hogen has 5 luxurious rooms, most with a beautiful view of the IJsselmeer. Enjoy nature walks, relaxing boat trips, or explore the area by bike. The rooms all have TVs, and private bathrooms with showers. Bikes can be rented close by. The hotel’s restaurant is situated nearby the fish market on the Volendammer harbor with a magnificent view over the sea. Here you can watch fishing boats leaving and arriving all through the day, and follow the activities on the market. This restaurant has been operating for more than 75 years and is famous for its excellent fish dishes. Hotel Rooms: 5

Very pleasant staff, very effective. The hotel offers a charming sea and haven view. It's location is ideal : center of Volendam (with all the restaurants and store) and you can reach Edam by foot along the sea (on the dike). The breakfats is copious. The decoration of the room was really cheap with no taste for design or beauty. The beds were uncomfortable. The room was quite small.

The hotel is located right on the seaside in Volendam. There's good restaurant in the builing. Room was ok. The breakfast wasn't reach, but it was ok. They don't have internet (and it was hard to find it in the whole Volendam!). And there's really narrow stair with no lift - if you are not young or if you have big luggage, you'll have a problem.

Good value for money, excellent location and friendly staff. Try the apple pie, the best I ever had. The only draw back is the very steep stairs.

Klein hotel, sobere maar nette kamers met uitstekend uitzicht op het Yselmeer en een voortreffelijk restaurant met prachtige wijnkaart en streekgerechten en dit alles vergezeld met zeer vriendelijk personeel... Een café in de nabijheid met hardrock muziek tot 2u in de nacht...alleen in het weekend...

lekker relex en een goed ontbijtje dat bij je aan tafel gebracht wordt heerlijk is dat dan kan je alles op je gemak doen . Niet moeten wachten of er wel koffie of thee is. Houden zo.

Uitzicht is prachtig. Locatie is perfect. Ontbijt was OK. Personeel bij ontbijt was erg bot. Het bed lag niet lekker. Ook was er geen douchegel of shampoo op de badkamer.

Ein nettes Hotel direkt am Hafen. Freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstück und saubere Zimmer. Vom Fenster des Zimmers kann man den Hafen überblicken. Leider wirbt ein Cafe, zwei Häuser weiter, am Wochenende mit sehr lauter Musik bis spät in die Nacht. Also: entweder Fenster schließen oder dort drüben mitfeiern. Der Sonnenaufgang, den man vom Bett aus genießen kann, entschädigt auf jeden Fall für den Lärm in der Nacht.

Het hotel ligt aan de dijk met een mooi uitzicht. Je stapt het hotel uit en alle winkels, restaurant etc zijn op loopafstand te bereiken. Er zijn vele leuke restaurants te vinden De bedden zijn veel te klein en in het weekend doe je voor half 2 geen oog dicht vanwege de muziek en de mensen die uitgaan. Daarnaast houden wij van een ontbijtbuffet die er niet was maar het ontbijt was wel lekker

Het hotel is prima gelegen midden op de dijk en de kamers aan de voorkant hebben een mooi uitzicht over het IJsselmeer. Het is voor een 2 sterren een prima hotel,prima ontbijt en heel vriendelijk personeel.ook de kamers eenvoudig maar netjes en schoon.Echt niets om over te klagen.
