Very good hotel; I especially appreciated the quiet rooms. Often in hotels there is a lot of noise coming through the walls or via the door to the hall, but none of that happened on my stay at this hotel. The check-in procedure was very quick and didn't require any additional paperwork, which is something I appreciated a lot. Check-out was also quick, by the way. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet; it has something for everyone with cooked breakfast, but also a good variety of bread, cheese and meats. On weekdays the hotel has a shuttle service to the closes train station (Maarssen) from where you have easy access to either Utrecht or Amsterdam. There is also a good bus connection from the hotel to Utrecht.

Maybe the breakfast buffet could be more efficiently placed. The way it is setup at the moment only allows people to walk by it on one side, which can cause a bit of a wait during peak times. If guests would be able to pass the buffet on 2 sides, it would be more efficient and would reduce waiting times.

We asked for soya milk and products:(for breakfast) this seemed difficult. The lovely restaurant day manager managed to root out some that had been left in the fridge... But in the morning at breakfast, it has gone off and was not drinkable. Everywhere else in the world they always manage to have Soya milk and yoghurt before I arrive so I can have a cup of tea. But We had to go out to buy some! The room safe says press R # but it should read press C# at the reception they should inform us that towels need to be obtained there BEFORE going down to the fitness centre, not find out when one is already in swim suit and then needs to get dressed to get them! I could say more, but am not anymore a conference organiser who checks out the hotels to see if they are fit to come to :)

Good bread for a breakfast.

We got a room with broken heating. Reception knew that assigning the room already because when I rang the reception somebody brought us room heater no questions asked. After that they told me they are fully booked (it means they have no problem giving you a cold room to become sick). Especially it was horrible in the morning in the bathroom :-( There was also a problem with reception call from the room phone (reception button didn't work). I needed to call a restaurant to get the number of the reception. And at the end - when I told them about this stuff in the morning - they offered me 10 euro discount :-) :-) :-) They were really funny.

Firstly, low price for the good deal. Also quite comfortable.

It's quite close to my office, and useful for meetings The barman is a treat!

It's very expensive for what it bringd, even breakfast at 24.50 Euros! Once you are in the area, unless you have a car there's nowhere near

The hotel was great, not much to complain about.

Just a minor complaint: the parking should be included in the price for this class of a hotel.

Eten is goed, alles is keurig verzorgd; maar het interieur en het concept is verouderd en aan vervanging toe. Daarom is prijs/kwaliteitverhouding onvoldoende. De goede reputatie op basis van booking.com viel dus erg tegen.

Although not worthy of a complaint, after requesting a quiet room, I was awoken during the night when heavy rain falling on the window made a loud drumming noise. It was too dark to see how this could be rectified, but by having your building inspector watch for this during a daylight rainstorm may help determine a solution.

Never in my life have taken me a deposit with the card at check-in. Wymeldowując the collected charge, and waited for the return of the deposit over a week. I wrote to the hotel, because there was no refund. He had to contact someone on this issue but received no response to email. embarrassing

Very nice staff. Polite and helpful. Good food, also for oversensitive vegetarians like me (something I wouldn't expect from a hotel). Quiet, even though close to the road. The rooms are clean and cosy. In one word - everything one would expect from a hotel. Last not least - comparing to others - inexpensive.

It is a semi-luxurous hotel, and I managed to book a room using a special offer, so that value-for-money was excellent

Location is not so good. Its rather far from Utrecht, and without car I do not know how we would reach the center of the city. On the other hand, parking fees in the center of Utrecht are extremely high (around 5 euros/hour), and we had to spent some time to park the car outside the city center.
