great location Comfy beds Perfect short stay
room was quite small but fine for what we needed
Excellent location, very near train station with lots of restaurants & pubs on the same street.
Rooms are a little on the small size but it is well equipped & clean.
Modern hotel rooms Fantastic location Comfy bed & nice clean bedding
Small rooms but this is to be expected
The location was superb, staff were friendly
Single rooms are ridiculously tiny! no room to move about in, no storage space apart from 3 hangers. The bed was so narrow, I thought I would roll off when I turned over...
Great place to experience amsterdam. Close to everything.
Very very small, no room at all
Hotel can be noisey and need later check out
The staff were great help, the space in the rooms was utalised well and overall comfort and cleanliness was great. Well worth the money! :)
This hotel is in a perfect location and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely recconemd to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Amsterdam.
It was a surprisingly quiet place, with a good view over the small canal harbour from our room. Despite its modern reputation the area still held some excellent bars and restaurants and many historic buildings worthy of note. But one had to find the nuggets within the dross.
We didn't know it when we booked, but the hotel is in the "Red Light District" of Amsterdam, with all that that implies. If sex shops, visible prostitution, drug-selling and taking are not for you, then you would be very wise to avoid this part of town. I didn't particularly like being asked to pay the full bill for our stay before we'd even set foot in our room, but we negotiated that down to having to pay only after staying one night. The room was cold. To heat it you needed to run the noisy air conditioning, to avoid that noise and the draught of the blower you had to tolerate the cold. The room was also very dimly lit. The ultra-modern lighting was so feeble that it was almost impossible to read by electric light. Some parts of the bathroom rested in impenetrable gloom, even with all the lights on.
This is now my third stay, and by far the best! The Staff were great this time - Friendly, very Helpful and polite. Fantastic view over the canal and main Tourist area, set in the heart of it all! Bed is 10/10 for comfort. Great Stay, Thank you! :)
The Small double really is a Small room with just enough room for bed and a wardrobe, not much room to move but it is what you pay for.
The bed was very soft and uncomfortable - it was a very small bed and the matress kept falling off - the room was also very small
Great location , would advise canal view
Room was quite small.
Location was great! Central to everything we were looking for, room was also very good and we had a great stay
Location was good for Centraal Station and other areas of Amsterdam. Staff were very helpful.
Single room was very small and had no wardrobe or drawers for clothes. Very basic accommodation.
Location was amazing, 2 mins from central station. Staff were easy going. Bed was surprisingly comfortable, best 3 star bed I've slept in! Our room on the second floor wasn't noisy.
Room hadn't been cleaned behind furniture etc for a fair while, rather dusty. But overall the room was clean. My friends room in the basement was noisy at night.
The hotel keeps your luggage even of you've got a late flight, also let me print off my boarding passes
Location and efficient staff, view on the water, quiet
The duvet was too thin and only one double blanket for two persons, no spare one. The room was very cold, heated only when you are in the room via an air on . Window could not be opened.
Having to pay extra when I arrived
Great location, nice modern hotel
Too noisy on the main street no sleep at all
The staff were very helpful and lovely to assist. Bed was made up everyday and a good location in dam square.
When we first arrived the room was very cold this did not warm throughout the night only to the next day. the Windows also let alot of noise in.
The hotel has a really good location in the city centre, close to anything. The bathroom was small but nice, and most importantly clean. The bed was pretty comfortable and clean as well. Overall, very polite service and decent room, especially for the amount we were charged.
The room we got was located further from the elevator, and since the hotel is in an old Dutch renovated building, there is a lot of stairs and hallways that can confuse you on your way to the room. Also, the window was either old, or made from thin glass so the room didn't feel so warm.
Me and my boyfriend are 22 and we have been to amsterdam a few times previously. We have stayed in victoria and intel hotels but hotel CC was by far the best. Great location - right in between the grasshopper and the red light district, Staff are really friendly and down to earth, free wifi, the small snack bar and fridges are a great idea in reception especially when you need a drink in the middle of the night ha, extremely clean and modern! Dont look anywhere else for a hotel, just book this one!
Got a large deluxe double room and was definitely worth the extra money. Couldn't have got a better location
The room didn't have any atmosphere the lighting was bad and the Internet was terrible.
Free wifi, nice staff, good location, also got to check in early on arrival.
renovations were going on, on our corridor but was given no indication that this was going on. Dark cables sitting on a dark carpet was a definite tripped hazard, and unleveled paint drop mats which also were a tripping hazard. Floor extremely uneven! If we had known there was ongoing renovations we would have stayed elsewhere! Freezing cold room and awful smell of sewage in our bathroom!
