I appreciated the shuttle from the airport. The attendant at the check- in desk was very friendly and enthusiastic. The room was very comfortable. Several things. Even though the attendants were very friendly, they were not informed. I was told that I could charge my dinner to the hotel bill. When the bill came to my table, I was told that I could not charge.When I checked in, I was told that my bill was prepaid. When I checked out, I was told that my bill was not prepaid. Also the city tax was incorrect. I was charged for two persons. Both attendants knew that I was traveling alone. Also it was not clear that the shuttle returning to the airport was not part of the free shuttle service. The morning of my check-out, I understand that the attendant was very busy, but she was not very friendly or understanding.

The bathroom was lovely. The tub huge. The room very nice. The shuttle is 9.50 euro, which is much cheaper than a taxi to the hotel. Information stated the hotel was 3km from the Amsterdam airport. By taxi, the trip took 10+mins and 35 Euro! Using the far edge of the airport as an indicator was not an accurate representation of the distance from the airport to the hotel.

Everything ranging from the proximity to Schipol, the neatness of the hotel, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Pity we could only stay for one night. See you again!!

Very clean and nice hotel. It was much better than we had expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed overnight to catch an early morning flight at Schipol, so did not have time to try their breakfast buffet. Location was peaceful and nice and with a couple of what seemed like nice restaurants. When we took their shuttle from Schipol airport to the hotel, we were a bit surprised that it is much farther than what I had seen on booking.com, but it only took about 15 minutes. They had in-room Douwe Egberts coffee (instant) which was a good touch. Very comfortable and nice stay.

Location. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. There was a fee for the shuttle. The implication when making the reservation was that the shuttle was free.

Location and travel links I booked a junior Suite, got a room with roof intruding and was less well equiped as a normal double room that our travel companions had booked for a lot less money.

the hotel was close to the airport, transfers were arranged efficiently and quickly. The intenet booking worked well. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were fiendly throughout and helpful. Food and bar services were excellent. Food quality and presentation good. Small extras such as coffee/tea sachets and bathroom soap were a bit scanty but adequate

The room was fine, uniqueness décor, clear & comfortable to stay. - The shutter service has been organize few days before arriving , however the car was not there at the agreed time. It since like the hotel only made the arrangement when I have call to check. In addition the pick point has info by hotel reception was incorrect as well. - The shutter service is free however which only for ONE way, which has no clean define in the internet - Very poor sound poor in the room, you can hear very cleanly when people walk & talking in the hall way.

The waiter and waitress were friendly. It was conveniently located. Hard to control the temperature in the room. Steam heat. Very narrow and steep stairs. Very sparsely decorated room and room was real small. Very overpriced. The hotel staff was not very helpful in helping me find a place to park our car. The local parking garage only accepts credit cards from Netherlands. Could not pay the garage with Euro'S.(cash)

My friends and I had an early morning flight from Amsterdam back to the states after a 10 day visit around Holland. We chose Hotel Chariot for its proximity to the airport and 24 hour shuttle service. We were pleasantly surprised to find our rooms were much more elegant and comfortable than we expected, with many extra amenities included. Also, the shuttle service was efficient even at 4:30 in the morning. It was an excellent choice and I will consider staying there again if my travels find me back in Holland again some day.

Quiet location yet close to the Amsterdam airport Limited choice of restaurants in the area; hotel shuttle is not marked with hotels name and we were not told to look for a different van that also serves as a shuttle for a park and fly type operation and there is a cost which is expensive given other hotels closer to the airport offer free shuttles for the most part..

This should not be classed as an airport hotel!!!! Additionally, the train station is at the airport and not near the hotel as stated. The shuttle bus costs 16 Euros. There is no other way to get to the airport other than a cab. Please do not stay here if you want to be near the airport. We wont be making this mistake again. The hotel is comfortable but does not fit the location description!

The hotel has recently been renovated. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Restaurant food was good - we only had sandwiches at lunchtime but these were innovative with extra touches. Our booking offered a complimentary airport shuttle to the hotel and we paid 16 Euro for the three of us back to the airport. Hotel seems best suited to business travelers. The hotel is in a quiet area so no loud traffic or people noise at night which we appreciated as we were rather jet lagged. Reception staff were highly variable - some very pleasant and efficient, others disinterested and unhelpful. The shuttle took 45 minutes to collect us at the airport. Tea and coffee supplies in the room were poor (one of each). We wanted to be near the airport as we had an early flight out the next day. Turned out we'd have been better off staying at the airport as transport into Amsterdam central from the hotel was complicated and time consuming whereas hotels at the airport benefit from direct routes into the city.

Excellent restaurant, best steaks in along time. Excellent breakfast Bit inflexible when trying to get a bigger room. Rooms a bit small if with children (plural). But for the price good value

Clean and spacious with good restaurants close by. The Hotel is further from the airport than advertised (with regard to transportation). Shuttlebus have to be called, and is charged by the hotel.

I have already been at the Chariot and I appreciated my previous staying. Room is big enough and nicely refurbished The service at the restaurant and feed back from the staff have been very bad. I waited 45 minutes at the restaurant for a seat and I have been told that "it was Saint Valentine". I left the restaurant without dining a bit upset with the so called maitre. The lady at the front desk could be of any help to find an alternative to the restaurant of the hotel. All the previous positive visits to this hotel have been replaced by a very bad experience. Do not know if I will stay again

- Very Clean - Large room - Good cooking - I had a Junior Suite and the bath was very good. - Internet connection is poor and is not appropriate for business purpose (why not propose a billable connection with high quality ?) - I would also change the Shampoo set with something more design. It does not cost much more to make that effort.

Very good restaurant in the hotel but also in front of the hotel. New furniture in the bedrooms. Easy parking. Alsmeer is a nice place to walk around. Next to the airport. Free shuttle from/to the airport. I like it very much and decided to switch from the NH. Bye bye NH Schiphol !
