Hotel Citadel  

Close to the station.

Clean, great location!

No refridgerator.

I stayed in hotel citadel for second time,i was in this hotel last year and then I liked it. What I like about this hotel is that it has some character,you can fell spirt of amsterdam,last year I was in room on 1st floor,i saw picture of bob marley in room and I knew I was in amsterdam, location is perfect,everything is nearby,sightseeings,jordan,red light district,shooping areas,restaurants

This year I had smaller room on 3rd floor,i wasnt satisfed with a room,but bathroom in room was good, and I think that hotel is overpriced,very expansive maybe because of queens day

The Hotel Citadel was very convenient for me as I was travelling from there to other parts of The Netherlands for three days. Also, it was the only hotel where I could make reservations because of my arrival on Queen's Day. I would like to especially point out the helpfulness of one of the desk clerks who took time to advise me of upscale restaurants withing walking distance of the hotel. He not only told me about the restaurants, but drew a map for me to follow to go there. I do not remember his name, but he is to be cited for his helpfullness and courtesy. He will remember me, I'm sure (I was staying in Room 51) on Thursday, 3 May. .

Rooms are small, but comfortable. It was a bit problematic to have the reception desk not on the same floor as arrival; this made handling luggage a bit problematic.

have stayed at your hotel many times now. and wouldnt fault it any way, The breakfast was excellent with a good choice, very clean and the staff were very helpful. See you next time.

From. the welcome and all the help from the staff made my stay and very enjoyable. i only spent one night but will be booking a longer stay when i need to return to amsterdam next year again for my conferance. i have also told some friends about here for them to stay at to.

Centrally located.. Very small room but OK for me !! Comfortable bed ..

Rooms extremely small.

Very Nice hotel staff, small but very good breakfast, but lack of scrambled eggs, sausage and so on.. they only have sandwich style breakfast.. with different slices of Ham, veggies, and jams etc. The Location is Super, and the rooms are comfortable but a bit small beds, and some of the furniture on hte room (the chairs) was dirty and it wasnt vacumcleaned under the beds.. but overall the rooms were quite nice and pretty clean.

The beds could have been a little more wider, why not make some sort of hot disches in the breakfast? like a noodle wok, scrambled eggs, grilled sausage, and so on instead of only cold food?

Chose this hotel as price advertised was price you pay - it included all taxes which made it much easier for our group of 13. Rooms were all individual, clean and ideal for a weekend stay. Breakfast was plentiful and staff very helpful. Location perfect, close to Central Station and all attractions within walking distance. Would definately recommend this hotel and would like to stay there again.

Hairdryer in the room not the best and no tea/coffee making facilities in room.

Friendly staff. 2 days i've been along in single room - small but cousy room, when my boyfriend came we went to double which was very nice, 2 windows + balcony, also I liked the lightening)) good city view in both room.
