New, innovative concept Small tables in the room offer a little space for my laptop and mouse to work. No wardrobe to put the clothes in. |

Nice/futuristic design. Easy check in/out. If you want a quick breakfast, then I guess the food is quite okay (although a bit expensive). Free computers, printers (cool for online flight check-ins), and wi-fi (good signal). Really far from the center. Even if you're with your significant other, the "open toilets" can be really awkward. Noisy and cold air conditioning (even when set at the "hottest" temperature). Confusing / slow remote control (used for TV, AC, lights, etc.). Impossible to make the room completely dark (a common problem in hotels in general). Probably bad luck, but one night we were woken up twice by the fire alarm (at 2:30 and 3:30 AM - false alarms). |

I love the room mostly it was small but very cleverly designed and bedding was so soft and bed was 10 out 10 slept like a baby. The mood lighting above the shower and toilet was really good and waking up to jungle sounds was cool. The shower was the best I'd love one in our house. No fridge was a shock at first as my partner is insulin dependant but as we were only staying two nights we weren't to bothered. |

The hotel is very good, the staff is very helpful, it is very close to a tram/bus stop! I would definetely come back! The hotel could offer twin beds. The bed is big enough for two persons who aren't a couple though. |

The CitizenM Hotel is a trendy hotel in the south part of the city. The hotel is easy to find as it is between two tram stops and next to the Metro station. That being said it is in the southern part of town and a tram to the central station can take about 25 min. We stayed here because of the rate of our room and ratings from various sites and we were not disappointed. The staff is young but attentive. The lobby is nice with a bar and several snack food options and there are several iMac computers for guests to use. Our room was small but that is to be expected. If you have an issue with privacy (perhaps on a family vacation) then this might not be the hotel for you because of the open design of the shower and toilet. Our room was almost too small. Almost. |

nice design, reasonable price for the room, Staff banging on the doors waking everyone up in the morning - must have been using a coin or a ring. I had flown long haul the day before and was not impressed... Room was too cold, aircon problem? No desk and chair in the room. |

Big comfy bed, TV with programs and films to choose from. The design of the hotel. The ease of checking in and out. The 24 hour cafe. We got cold and wet (our own fault!) but despite advertising to the contray, even when the heat was set at full, it did not come on. I had to go out and buy more clothes as the ones we had could not dry. It was specifically advertised that you could set the tempreture of your room. |

I loved the bed and all the design of the hotel itself. The only thing they need improve is the breakfast. There is not a lot of choice and I love the english breakfast with bacon and eggs: ) |

The rain showers were fantastic and very relaxing. Many movie choices and they were all free! Room was very small for 2 people. I knew that the location was outside of Amsterdam but there is not much in the area, even for buying small things. Should provide tea/coffee making facilties in the room since you have to go far to buy something to drink (if you do not want to buy something at the restaurant downstairs), |

Easy to book, check in and check out, funky, funny design, access to internet, great coffee no storage space!!! In a place so obviously 'designed' the lack of a wardrobe must be considered a definite design flaw. A woman staying more than a single night needs more than 3 hangers. Inconvinient with suitcase full of clothes under bed. Glad I was only one in the room as there would have been no place for a second suitcase (with extra duvets in drawer). Breakfast overprised. |

I stayed at Citizen M for 4 nights and I love the design of the room.. the hotel is very fashionable and the design is fantastic. However, the room is quite small, not alot of private space.. the bathroom is in a open area. however the bed is quite comfy and big. Overall, It was a great experience staying at Citizen M. |

The rooms had a brilliant design, liked the free access on internet and movies. Staff was really friendly. Loved the whole concept of the hotel, loved the little citizen M says notes everywhere. The shower glass might be smokey like the toilet's is. Just for more privacy, if there is a none couple staying there. |

Citizen M hotel in Amsterdam was fabulous!! Such a modern and comfortable place to stay. While the rooms are not huge and are of an open plan design, the pod style toilet and shower are unique and great to use. We loved the big comfy bed and the all in one room control (Tv, Lights, temp, mood!!!). The free interent was excellent too. it is only a 20 min tram ride (tram 5 from centraal station) it is on the museum side of the city!!! Also we discoeverd that we were only a 2-3 min walk from the other main station (can't remember the name , maybe Suid) that is only one stop from Amsterdam airport!!!! The only negative was that breakfast was not included (b'fast was included in the 5 other hotels we stayed in around europe!) unlessa extra $9.95 |
