City Hotel Tilburg  

Friendly staff, good breakfast, and excellent location.

The hotel room was a bit too warm for me.

The staff helped us in many ways and they understood well the clients, hotel full of festival people.

Friendly employees. Good breakfast and lovely breakfast room. Renovated bathroom. Cleanliness.

Room overlooking square incredibly noisy between midnight & 4am on both Saturday and Sunday nights. Earplugs were not enough to block out thumping bass of clubs, shouts of people down on the street, or roar of streetcleaners. Room rate nearly doubled due to lack of overnight accommodation in Tilburg during internationally-acclaimed events, such as music festivals. Scratchy towels. Squishy mattress. Red curtains did not create a restful atmosphere in room. Minifridge: tucked away in wardrobe & not cold enough to keep salad fresh.

I wrote some request about the room on booking.com site when I booked. Straight away, I've got a conformation message from this hotel. So, very taking care and reception staff were helpful. Restaurant, cafe and bar are right outside of the hotel.

Tilburg is ok as a town, and convenient for much of South Holland, but hardly picturesque..

Prime location in the beating heart of Tilburg. Close to commercial high street and lots of great bars and restaurants.

Their was something wrong with the lightbulbs in the room underneath the television.

Location is excellent. Rooms are big for european city standards, very clean, comfortable bed. Good price. Internet is decently fast.

As others said, walls are thin and its noisy, you hear anything out in the hall and surrounding rooms. Didn't bother me but if you are a light sleeper go elsewhere. No added services, no lobby, no fitness, very limited breakfast (but that's to expect for the cost). Across the road you have the Mercure if you want all the services.

The location was great, bring decently close to the city centre, close to shopping area, restaurants, and quite safe! The hotel was definitely clean, with 24 hour counter, there wouldn't be a problem for late check-ins. Really like the breakfast and how I was able to get coffee and hot water whenever I wanted.

It's located beside a church that chimes it's bells every half an hour or so. My room was right beaide it. If you happen to be a person that requires silence, maybe ask for a room that isn't on the outside or so close to the church.

the staff was really nice, spoke awesome English, and they were really helpful/funny. the breakfast was really good too. easy check in, easy check out. the hotel has a beautiful view and is right next to at least six restaurants/cafes. it's also right on the shopping strip.

I had to wrestle my door to open it. probably was me though, not the door.

Central location in and around all services, shops, restaurants, train station. Our room overlooking the square was ideal for viewing the life it offered each day & evening. The availability of tea/ coffee/ refreshments in the dining room all day everyday was valued & appreciated. Staff were always gracious & helpful. My request for a room overlooking the square was responded to positively & speedily.

The option to make tea or coffee in your own room should be considered as an additional facility. The lip or small step into the bathroom should be reviewed as I stubbed my toe a few times while entering same.

it's located in the central of city...with an accessible transports. It takes 10 mins by walk from hostel to main train station.

the service and breakfast are average, i will not recommend to all.

The staff were helpful and friendly, especially useful when you are staying with small children. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I would recommend it highly

Good location in the city centre, confortable and clean rooms, good breakfast.

In the days we stayed, hotel's street was closed, so we had to park the car far from the hotel.

The hotel is located in the very center of Tilburg and surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants. So, be ready for noisy nights.

l'emplacement car dans la rue des bars et donc assez bruyant de plus une soirée était organisée dans un batiment en face de l'hôtel avec les derniers fétards à 5h du matin... Impossible d'ouvrir la fenetre car la chambre assez petite.

Heel goede ligging om Tilburg te ontdekken. Ontbijt is lekker en voldoende.

We waren er net met Koninginnedag en voor het hotel was er discobar tot 01.00 u. Kregen dan wel een kamer aan de achterkant maar dan was het de klokketoren die ons ons wakkerhield.

Aufgrund des Königinentag, und entsprechender Feierlichkeiten, wurden uns unproblematisch Zimmer angeboten, die etwas ruhiger waren. Sehr nette Geste, Danke nochmals.

Is allemaal niet nieuw meer en dat zie je

wij vonden het personeel erg attent en heel vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was ook erg lekker en keuze genoeg,en een heel fijne strakke gezellige eetzaal. de slaapkamer en badkamer waren ook uitstekend.

Wij sliepen aan de kant van het plein, van zaterdag naar zondag:))) Wij moesten zondagochtend al erg vroeg weer in de ijshal zijn. Dus we weten nu wel wat het studenten leven in Tilburg is, om 5.03 s'ochtends was het pas stil. Het was erg gehorig dus ook heeeel erg weinig geslapen en met dikke wallen onder de ogen de zondag doorgekomen.

Locatie, kamers, ontbijt, personeel, eigenlijk is alles perfect!

Er zijn helemaal geen minpunten.

Die Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und bemüht. Nach einer Beschwerde über Lärm in der Nacht, folgte sofort das Angebot, ein anderes Zimmer zu bekommen, als Entschuldigung wurde uns eine gute Flasche Wein serviert. Eine nette Geste!

Ein paar Zimmer grenzen an ein Lokal mit Livemusik. Kann lauter sein.
