Great location in the heart of the city but wasn't at all noisy. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, room was clean and very well equipped. Breakfast was excellent. Tried to use the bar a couple of times over the weekend but it had already closed, even to residents, although this was still relatively early on both nights. |

We got one of the two rooms with the balcony so I was really happy. The location is excellent. Being Irish there is no way in hell I would give it four stars but the standard of hotels in Amsterdam Centrum is awful and this place was quite good. I would recommend it, especially if you can get a front of building room. TV is good and tea making facilities in room. room is reasonably small but very functional. |

Hotel reception service is not good. One hour early check-in was not allowed though rooms were vacant, it took approx. 45minutes for the hotel staff to bring the luggage to my room after the check-in. Next day morning tried to contact the reception from the telephone in the room several times but they were not able to listen to me and nobody bothered to check also whether i need something. |

excellent location "Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge" ... wireless internet connection is not good or at least not in all the hotel BUT on the other hand the wired internet connection, which is also free of charge makes up for it |

Very nice friendly cooperative staff, no complication on check in, excellent location, nice clean rooms (not very luxury but comfortable, room facilities (iron, coffee, mini bar, laptop size safe box, free internet access both wireless and cable, very good heating system) the lift was slow, it was difficult to open windows, we changed room, the first one had water blockage on washing basin .. |

Location - Easy accessability to all major sight-seeing points and events in the town Minor complaints relating to the maintenance of appliences in the bathroom (blocked outflow in the bath tub, empty soap dispenser). |

We were in a very central location and one of the ladies at reception was very helpfull. This very helpful lady even upgraded our room for the last night of our stay to make up for the hassle we had. There was a trainee on reception when we arrived and she made a total mess of our check in then a mo5re senior lady came in to try sort the mess out and again made a worse mess of things. I had to get a pen and paper to show the staff how to add the bill and deposit properly. Also the house keeping staff were knocking on the door at 9:10 in the morning this is far too early. |

The location os this hotel was excellent, close to the train station and Dam Square, The street noise was unreal, it was like the windows were open! The decor in the room could do with a little lift, the couch in the room needed to be cleaned or recovered. I would stay there again for location. |

It is in a really good location for all the attractions - a tram stops outside for example. The Bodega mural was stunning. Staff also very pleasant. The rooms could be a bit bigger but as one is rarely in it, this does not matter. It makes up for this in history. |
