Location, big room

That is no 4 stars hotel. Room doesn't have much furniture and lighting is very poor. Definitely overpriced and overrated.

Noisy traffic as windows seal very poor and can't have a good sleep at night. Also floor boards are squeak and noisy, it seems there is no sound insulation on floors.

Very central, nice staff, clean and confortable. We enjoyed our stay and we recomend this hotel to anyone wants to be close to the most important Amsterdams' attractions.

The quality of of food / accomodation and staff friendliness. I was very impressed and would recommend this Hotel to everybody. The location was so cebtral and suited us as we had arrived by train.

Nothing is good in this hotel apart from location. Unfriendly personnel, dirty, horrible rooms - at first we were placed in some basement with horrible smell. We asked to change the room and were placed under the roof in a tiny dark room with one window on the ceiling. Dirty old bathroom... Never again!!!

This was a very unpleasant Hotel. It was musty and in urgent need of an upgrade. The room was small dark and depressing. I will not stay there again. Based on the room the Hotel was probably only a 2* and considerably over- priced. We tried to stay out of the Hotel to minimise the unpleasantness. The bed was uncomfortable and the window insignificant. Gave impression of a converted broom cupboard.

The hotel and staff were all brilliant and nothing was too much trouble

Small room, sink leeked, shower turned cold and hot. We had a discount, otherwise it would have been to expensive (no 4-star hotel)

Staf is very friendly and ready to help. Room is clean. The hotel is close to Dam and other interesting places.

The creaking floors and poor insulation.

Everything in the hotel was really thought trough. The room i equipped with tea kettle, safe, air conditioning, etc. Bathroom was really nice and very clean. There is a nicely decorated pub just downstairs. The location is perfect - just in the city center, next to the central square and the channels. There is a supermarket just in a couple of steps, which is also very convenient

The food choice in a restaraunt was really poor. However, there are plenty of options for dinner just in the hotel surroundings.

Interruptions of water are in bath. Both hot or cold, and the warm is needed

Bedroom, having a lift and having internet was useful. Some friendly and helpful staff.

Could be more friendly at welcoming people. On our last day, room service staff kept knocking on our door; first at 11am and second at 1130am.....yet check out is at 12:00....we were just getting up and having a shower....NOT Good!

We enjoyed great location of this hotel. Right in the center of the city. We stayed in fully renovated room with a brand new bathroom.

We had a problem with a light in a wardrobe. It wasn't turning-off and night receiptionists couldn't fix it, but the light wasn't annoying.

The location was superb...rooms very clean and staff very helpful. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were also a bonus...loved it!!

The location was fantastic, staff were friendly. The room spacious clean and perfect.

Quiete expensive. Room service wasnt available. Had to go down to reception to collect anything I needed like a travel adapter.

Hotel had a great location right next to Dam square,had a nice design ,room for 2 people was fine had a mini bar and a kettle.

Wifi didn't work for a day,cleaning staff comes in very early!

Excellent rooms, very good breakfast. Super bar and restaurant. We got a great deal as the facade of the hotel was covered in scaffolding due to refurbishments. The hotel though, was excellent inside and the loaction cannot be beaten. The staff were very efficient and friendly.
