La location veramente centrale

lo stato delle camere: una prima proposta con finestra sigillata in estate e senzaaria condizionata! Una seconda proposta con arredamento e superficie inadeguati (valigia in terra a scavalco). Ci si domanda come un simile hotel possa avere 4 stelle.

L'atmosfera d'epoca, lo staff molto gentile, la camera molto ampia, la centralita' della collocazione, la presenza di una bella brasserie e di un bar d'atmosfera.

Il divano era molto sporco e alcune sedie erano macchiate.

l'accoglienza e la professionalità dello staff.Ottimo ristorante e bar.

La posizione dell hotel e' ottima...le camere sono di grandezza normale...siamo arrivati in anticipo sull orario del cechk in ma ci hanno dato cmq subito la camera...

Il bagno era accettabile e pulito ma abbastanza vecchio e la porta dava direttamente sul letto

L'hotel e' molto centrale. Avevo richiesto una camera per 2 adulti + 2 bambini, ma all'arrivo la camera aveva 2 letti singoli, nonostante mi avessero detto che la prenotazione riguardava una twin room (che io immaginavo significasse una camera con 2 letti matrimoniali). Alle mie rimostranze hanno aggiunto un letto supplementare senza farmi pagare alcun extra.

La camera e' un po' spartana, ma ampia.

Poor sound proofing (traffic noise). Breakfast rather costly.

did not spend a great deal of time in the room as dark and very basic not worth the money paid for it serious need of refurb, paint on walls or even a brighter light in bedrooms, on a good point it was central to all attractions

overpriced basic should not be listed or quoted as refurbished as the rooms and decor were older than me!!! i booked the hotel two weeks in advance as i was flying back from thailand and requested an early check in (usually 2pm) as jet lag, however upon arrival was met with very abrupt response that i can only request early check in the night before even though it was all paid for and our room should have been waiting anyway, well how stupid give two weeks notice not happy, one night is ok?? hour and half wait in reception before put in a box room (not one booked - complained and moved with argument)

The location was excellent. The breakfast was also very good, and the reception staff were very helpful

The first room we were given was too small and dark. When we asked to change the room we were told that for an extra 20 euros per night we could upgrade to an executive suite. We did so, the room was better, but nothing really executive about it! but we were happy

A good hotel is in an excellent central position. the room was nice and clean. It was an expensive one, I belive we will be back to this hotel only if the prices will be lower.

For some reason, the coffee cups were not cleaned for two days. Only after I requested, they sent someone to clean them.

Location - excellent location. across the street from dam square. main trams go just outside. walking distance from central station and other parts of amsterdam for tourists. big mall & cheap supermarket meters away. Management - we got upgraded to the royale palace suite just because it was available (we stayed for 5 nights). Staff - the staff is excellent and did everything to answer our questions and to provide a good service. we met staff members outside of the hotel around the city and they still found the time to guide us around!!!. you will find true hospitality. Facilities - great resturant and bar. wifi is available for free although not working in the upper floors. Phone is very cheap (via internet - the only hotel offers this).

elevators are quite slow and sometimes gets stock. it's not a 4 star hotel. they did not have a weight for luggage and we had to sort it out ourself (staff suggested theyll bring one from their home but we did not want to trouble).

the quality of my room was very good and the hotel is central in the city ideal for a city break
