The staff is very friendly and helpful, the new management makes you feel at home. The rooms are fine, comfortable and clean.

The location is very good, being on Damrak, we thought it might be quite noisy, but the room being at the back was surprisingly quiet

the stairs are very steep, but this is a feature of Amsterdam houses. Older people should be aware

The people in management were very. Friendly and always willing to help. Really enjoyed my stay

Continental Center Hotel is well situated for access from Central Station and all local attractions. It is relatively cheap (for Amsterdam) and as long as you do not go there expecting 5 star accomodation and service you will be satisfied. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough for two nights stay (Don't know if I could have handled a week in there though).

As previously mentioned the stairs are quite steep and can be a bit of a struggle but that is due to Amsterdams architecture not the hotel. The windows are bit smaller than the window frames which, in winter, will leave your room very cold and also means you can hear every conversation that goes on at street level. Although enough herbal/liquid consumption will help you block it all out.

located in the central of amsterdam and easily to get train and tram. The price also quite good and reasonable for the hotel surrounded by many interested point such as red district, dam square, shopping outlets and etc.

to go to the room we have to climb the ladder with our big luggage. but we understood the reason the hotel cannot provide the lift or escalator because of some rules from country to protect the old building.

The room was dirty.my partner&I have insects bite.s on our skin total let down in every way I would,nt go back there even if you paid me, and the price they charged total rip off

Staff were very rude and unhelpful,the hotel itself was very dirty and the rooms also dirty,lights were broken and also the window,the toilet had a top window which people could see in,would never stay here again.

I expected the room to be larger, at least enough to open my suitcase. Also, they did not change the sheets in the 5 nights I was there.

Never understood the phrase you get what you pay for until I stayed here. Took me right back to my student days, thought I had a bargain when I booked as it was the cheapest, but there is always a reason my friends.

Kleines schmudeliges Zimmer. Gebucht haben wir 4 Sterne vor Ort fanden wir ein 2 Sterne Hotel. Die Brandsicherheit katastrophe. Die Türen gehen nach innen auf. Das Bett war 140cm Breit für 2 Personen. Wenn die Möglichkeit besteht, sollte man das Geld zurückfordern.
