Great location, just a short walk to Damstraat Square and Red Light City District. Won't take a big dent out of your wallet and provides you with all the basic needs for a comfortable stay. Personal showers in rooms is nice, many other hotels i've stayed in Amsterdam have shared showers for the entire floor. Wi-fi connection always helpful for reference during your stay or just to keep in touch with friends and family. Perfect for people who plan on spending most of their time out in the city rather than in their hotel rooms. Rooms are small, but it's fine if you just want to use your room to shower and sleep and spend the rest of your time out.

It was in Amsterdam....Do I need to add more? Was close to the middle of town. The water went every where in the shower. Breakfast was poor. No fruit or veg only meat and cheese for your rolls. Make sure you get down early for breakfast as the clock is 5 mins fast in the breakfast room and the lady starts packing up straight away.

Excellent location (practically, in the middle of the city, close to many city attractions). The hotel personnel is nice and willing to help. A little bit noisy, but mainly because of the works in the street. The cleaness of the bathroom could be improved and the taps, metal bars and toilet seat could be fixed, but I have no complaints given the price- quality ratio and the location of the hotel.

Good reception - friendly and efficient staff. Adequate breakfast - food was of a good standard and facility looked clean Room basic and i asked for high floor to avoid tram street noises and the attic type room smelled musty and had low natural light levels. Wasnt clear i had to ask for a tv remote control and explained or provided at check in. Location is good because places to see are nearby. Its diffficult to locate the rooms inside hotel because they are at different levels. The beds are too small. Bathrooms are also not so clean and are small.

Friendly staff, great location. Room is very small, not enough space for huge luggage. Confusing designs, can easily get lost inside the hallway.

Everything, it was terrible! I wouldn't stay there again if you paid me!!! Rooms were disgusting, everything was dirty. The light fixtures were hanging off. The walls and ceilings had damp coming through. The paint was peeling off and the price was rediculous for that place. I've seen better hostels! My suggestion would be to remove them from your site before someone gets ill staying there!

The receptionist was very kind. There is a good parking service to make up for the fact that you cannot park on the street. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned (single glass windows, extremely small bathroom) and would need a make-over.

Breakfast was okay. Nothing special though. Was noisy and loud at night with rowdy guests. We got bitten by bed-bugs, too! Could smell smoke in non-smoking room.

The only good thing was the breakfast in the morning. The rooms are very tired the staff are curt at best. The noise level from outside is terrible The rooms were grubby. The beds very soft. Stink of tobacco and weed. The street noise was terrible 24/7.

The location was convenient. The shower flooded the entire bathroom, there were exposed wires in the lighting, some bulbs were out, the wallpaper was old/starting to peel, the desk was dirty/scuffed, the "view" was obscured by scaffolding and a billboard advertisement that was not shown on the example picture. The free breakfast consisted of bread and cereal and some meat slices which were not in the least bit appetizing. The "free wifi" was only available in the lobby, which I haven't experienced since around 2001. This place was not worth the price.

nothing everything, very poor, in need of refurbishment, in fact wallpaper hanging off wall, noisy from the street and trams, and the fact there was scaffolding preventing you actually looking outside.

As the Cordial Hotel & Bar City Centre was doing some maintenance on the hotel my room was too dusty so I couldnt stay there as I have asthma, they where very professional and ensured I had another room in another hotel Armada. Nice hotel but bit too expensive for what you get, breakfast was a bear minimum of choice as well. My advice is sure book the hotel if you can get a good price for it or additionally book it for its premium rates and don't complain as they are a nice bunch of people :-)

Location was in the heart of Amsterdam, very close to many sites and location for nightlife was excellent. The staff was not helpful. When we called down because our room didnt have basic necessities, we were told to come down to the desk to get them ourselves. The room was filthy, walls had burn marks on them, light bulbs not working, the bathroom was filthy. Shower and toilet were right next to eachother so, if you had to use the the toilet, might as well shower while you're at it. Just for the price we paid, I expected a lot better than that. The price should have been 50euros for the 2 nights, not 300. I've been in hostels that were in better condition than that room we received. Parking was not even free or cheap, 50euro for 2 nights. The location was the only good quality for the hotel.

Reception was helpful and polite. Bathroom smelled of raw sewage. Lady that serves breakfast was extremely impolite and touches the food with her hands for no apparent reason.

The Location was next to a busy street/sidewalk with the trains running at all hours & people yelling outside on the sidewalk. My room didn't have any heat. Walls were very thin & windows where old & didn't help with sound from outside. Bed was tiny & uncomfortable. Room was like a prison cell because it was so small. Construction outside started at 7am & went till dark (very loud)! Sanding & Pounding at early morning hours inside the hotel as they were doing construction on a room. Staff was't friendly at all. Horrible Hotel - I will never stay there again!

I stayed in a tiny and basic single room on 5th floor for just e42, which was a v good price. No wifi in rooms, but available in lobby (altho lobby not comfortable at all). Good location. Buffet breakfast ok. Noisy street. Didn't feel 100% secure.

“The location is perfect because it is near to the tram and also the Central Station. And it is also easy to find, just located beside the Dam Square. The morning breakfast was very good, nice foods and cozy place to eat. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. One of the staff recommended a nice restaurant which is just 50m away from the hotel.” Fongseong, 高石市 |
