The countryside experience , the play garden for small children, the animals around the apartments and the cosy layout of the apartment.

Our stay at the apartment has become the highlight of our trip to Belgium and Holland. Our kids really enjoyed exploring the farm and playing with the farm animals (rabbits, chickens, horses and a donkey). The playground was also a big hit. We felt very homely at the apartment, it was very clean and cosy. The fully equipped kitchen is a big plus for us. There is ample space for parking and the location of the apartment is strategic for excursions to Damme, Knokke Heist and Sluis which are just a few minutes drive away. We also went to Bruges which is about half hour drive from the place. Owner speaks little English but very kind and helpful.

Only one minor downside. Cash only. Credit cards are not accepted. Though we've been told that Debit Cards are accepted, the machine didn't seem to work. However, the owner was kind enough to let us checked-in and let us pay the next day.

The maisonnette was lovely and the garden with the animals was fantastic.

Perfect location for a relaxing holiday for nature lovers with lovely places nearby (het Zwin, Catzand, Breskens). The farm itself was charming with all the little farm animals around.

The price for our stay was maybe not that cheap: we paid 600 euros for a stay of four nights.
