Lunch at the lido was good, and also dinner at the captains room. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. No indoor pool, no indoor gym.which should be a must these days. Breakfast service non existant. .

The experience of staying on an iconic trans-Atlantic liner, and being able to visit the restored parts of the ship. So much of the ship is out of bounds to the guest staying there, unless you take a tour,-- we hoped that more of the lounges etc would be part of the "hotel".

This was a unique place to stay and gave us some great photographic opportunities. We had a meal at the location on our first night and the steak was cooked to perfection for both our tastes. There was a bar with live music until 1 o clock in the morning which we took advantage of. There was a free shuttle service to the nearest metro station and also a bus service next to the ship which would take you to the city centre etc. There was a water taxi service next to the ship however we did not use this. We had an upgraded room which was quite large and two portholes allowed plenty of light. The facillities and decoration were very good. The bed was extremely comfortable As a paying guest we were still not allowed to tour the ship without having to pay for the tour as any member of the public could do. We did not have breakfast at the location as the price of 19 euros each put us off in the first place. Our sleep during the second night of staying was disturbed due to the cdonstant banging of a door somewhere on the lower deck

Just great to stay on such a huge ship. Something different. Really only that it was hard to find (which was mostly our fault).

Great novalty staying on a cruise ship, rooms were spacious and clean and the facilities and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We dined in the Club Room and our service and food was amazing. It is a little far from the metro station, but great when we could hitch a ride from the shuttle service.

Size of the room, great decor and idea (50's boat), quality of towels, dressing room in the executive, coffee facilities, nice staff in the reception, nice lounge bar. Not at all friendly or helpful staff in the "brasserie". Very expensive food for the quality offered. Another negative point: if you want to eat to the brasserie, you cannot go through the restaurant but using a frozen "corridor" (you can easly get a cold). We suggest to provide another way to reach the brasserie (at least in winter time), and to train the staff to be more pleasant. Thanks.

Very nice - the hotel or Ship set's you back to the 1950-60's and gives really a feeling of being onboard an oceanliner. Cabins are nice but if possible, take one that has portholes - gives more authentic feeling. And don't forget to take the tour - the big one - it's worth every penny but set aside at least 2 hours for it. The vessel is really impressing!! We like to sleep in cold room - but "onboard" a vessel, you cannot open any windows so you need to rely on the aircondition. Probably due to cold weather, we couldn't get it cold enough in the cabin.

Unuasual location, staying on a 1950's cruise ship is an excellent idea. Really enjoyed our two nights on board.

Friendly service. Good sized room. Central location with good transport connections. Unusual building...being an old ocean liner. Restaurant service was slow. The better of the 2 was too expensive.

The hotel staff and hotel facilities are excellent. Rooms (cabins) are comfortable and clean. You like to stay at a different type of hotel, this is it !! Very nice. The restaurant part on board is pretty lousy. We had a business lunch some time ago and everybody complained about the quality of the food. This trip, the food at dinner was mediocre at best and the service was plain bad!!! They looked like apprentices rather than proffesional waiters. Breakfast was a dissaster. There was plenty of food but the lines & waits were crazy. No organization. Wait in line with6-7 others to get a cup of coffee. There were only 2 coffee machines. They have more coffee machines in Shell gas stations. Restaurant parts is far below par.

The hotel looks great from the outside - an old passenger ship. The enormous queues at reception (waited for 20 mins!) The price of the room compared to the room size and ambiance The anonymous, mass-tourism atmosphere The absence of a *nice* hotel bar and restaurant The chaotic breakfast organisation

The experience of staying an unusual hotel in the heart of Rotterdam I wish the pool was available for guest to use and not part of a nostalic Ship Tour. I've stayed on the Queen Mary in Los Angeles and outside cabins were a real bonus

Location is special Poor signposting.. On booking with Booking.com. The price was an acceptable108 euro (without breakfast). Unexpectedly I had to book one night extra and to my surpsise had to pay 238 euro for that extra one night without breakfast. It would have been thoughtful and wise, if I had been informed about this "slightly different" price on booking the room, as now I feel cheated and will not return a next time.
