It was a nice cosy quiet room. The bed was good. The staff was friendly and professional.

This is not really a minus but more like a suggestion to the hotel. I asked about the check out time and then I decided to check out later. The receptionist told me he got up earlier just for me. I may have told him I change my mind in some way in advanced if I knew it was just the one person who had to get up at a particular time...

Really friendly welcome from the owners, beautiful room, quirky art (that gets changed weekly, I was informed!) in all the rooms, balcony in the room overlooking a lovely garden, free coffee maker in the room, TV that shows BBC1 and 2 (not just BBC World!)

A little far out of the town, but I recall seeing that you could hire a bike for a small daily rate (plus deposit) which would make getting in and out a bit easier. If I return to Utrecht for a little longer, I may well stay here and hire a bike.

Great service, atmosphere and very calm environment. Ideal for both work and rest. The hotel is in walking distance from the city centre. I could not be more pleased with the hotel and service.

Both the food and the service were excellent. I've rarely had hotel breakfasts as good as theirs - the unadulterated apple juice was a special treat. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to have drinks at 6pm with the owners, who were great company and a mine of information. They were very responsive to their guests' needs with, for example, a stock of umbrellas to borrow and even a quality bicycle pump, although we didn't need it on this visit.

No complaints at all.

The breakfast is very good and inexpensive (10 euros). My room was very comfortable.

The hotel is not in the old city center. It is located away from the main attractions of the city. I walked 40 minutes from the train station, but busses will bring you to the hotel.

Peaceful location; elegantly simple design and decor, charming and helpful hosts; faultless service; excellent breakfast.

The easy going atmosphere

I can't recommend Hotel de Admiraal more highly. While the room was small, it was well furnished, had a nice balcony, was extremely clean and had an excellent view of the garden. The breakfasts were wonderful; and the proprietor was friendly, very helpful, and could not be more accommodating. I was visiting my daughter and her boyfriend in Utrecht, and my stay at the hotel made my visit to this beautiful city that much more enjoyable.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is highly individual in style - very typical of Utrecht.

静かで落ち着ける場所ですが、観光地へも歩くのが好きな人は歩いて行ける距離。ホテル内はアートがたくさん- で、朝食もゆったりとした雰囲気です。スタッフの方はやさしく話しかけてくれます。部屋数は少ないこじんま- りとしたホテルです。

ユトレヒトの駅からの行き方を調べて行かなかったため、迷いましたが、8番で15分程だったかな。

This is a small well designed hotel with friendly and helpful staff. You feel very well looked after which was a nice change from the usual anonymity of large hotels. The owners did a good job of providing a vegan friendly breakfast for myself and other vegans staying there at the same time - just notify them in advance. Another good point was that they hire bikes out, which is very useful for getting around Utrecht. The hotel also has a splendid back garden with a wonderful friendly old cat called Rita.

Lovely place to stay. Attention to detail is very high. Marc was friendly and willing to help with every small thing. Loved the Nespresso machine in the room and the balcony with a view of the beautiful garden. A very relaxing place to stay and worth the walk into the town (about 20 mins). Close to the bus to the University.

The friendly atmosphere, the pervasive cleanliness and all the well-chosen, interesting art on display in the rooms.

Everybody was very friendly and helpful, and I felt really welcomed. There were no problems at all. The wifi internet access was excellent. Overall one of the best hotels I have stayed at.

very nice quite hotel, but is a way from centre. if you want helpful staff, and a nice place to open a door and get fresh air into your room, then this is the place for you. stayed here twice so its good.
