Romanitsches kleines Hotel, typisch holländisch an einer Gracht gelegen und nicht weit von den berühmten Tulpenfeldern etwas hellhörig und nachträglich eingebautes Bad, was sich bei den alten Häusern wohl nicht vermeiden lässt, aber okay |

Das Zimmer war okay, das Frühstück niederländisch, die Preise sind wohl in Leiden so. Die Lage war optimal. Das Zimmer stank penetrant nach Toilette, im Bad war der Geruch fast unerträglich. |

The room was cleaned every day and it was also very quiet. It's situated in the city of Leiden and therefore perfect for a visit of Leiden but as well as a starting point for trips to the cities nearby (The Hague and its beach, Amsterdam, Delft,...) No, everything was just fine and I really can recommend this hotel. |

Well situated, on a canal side, in the centre of Leiden, a very pleasant university city. There is plenty to see within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel (typically in Holland) is high and thin but there is no lift - the stairs are steep and this could be a problem for a diasbled guest. There is no hotel parking. Parking in the street or at a nearby car park is relatively expensive. |

All the service was very helpful and accommodating. The toilet took forever to fill after it was flushed, and of course, was noisy while it was doing so. |

The original features of the historic building , particularly the dining room added huge charm to the stay. The bedrooms were a bit cold and slightly noisy at the front of the hotel. |

Placed in the centre and accessible. The web-site image has most atmosphere than I found the hotel to have. In winter service may become more erractic, on one day I was told breakfast was at 7.30, went down at 7.35 but no-one appeared until later and everything was locked up. The location of the hotel is very convenient. The room was very clean and adequate for my purposes. The staff was very helpful. In contrast to the photos on the web site, the room itself did not really have the atmosphere of an old canal house. My room faced away from the street so I was protected from noise, however I could clearly hear the conversation of the people in the next room. The internet site advertises internet in all rooms but does not mention that this requires payment of an additional fee. |

A beautiful building in an idyllic area for a very decent price, just pay 10 euro extra for a ''luxury room'', and wow, it is so luxurious, our room consisted of two floors - a sleeping area and a converted attic with couches and a large window with a view of the canal. The staff were very helpful and I would definitely return. Only that the double beds were just two single beds pushed together and we'd end up falling down the gap in between. |

Sweet memories: slapen aan het rapenburg! Comfortabel hotel. Toen we te laat aan het ontbijt kwamen, werd eea toch weer even neergezet, zodat we nog een heerlijk, eenvoudig , ontbijt konden genietend. De famiaire sfeer in het hotel! Zelfs kamer 13 is uiterst comfortabel! dat we maar 1 nacht konden blijven, door ons eigen programma... |
