It said no pets allowed, but found two of the owner's dogs in the hotel. The dog in the kitchen put us off having breakfast there.

The staff is very friendly,nothing is to much... The breakfast was inc. Dinner is excellent with extra portion french fries wich we didnt even asked for. Just a couple of minutes walking from downtown valkenburg.

The hostess was kind and helpful. The room was plain but comfortable. Be aware that you have to carry luggage up narrow stairs. Not a problem for us but might be for some.

Eerst via Hotelspecials bij Fletcher geboekt en kregen binnen half uur telefoon dat het overboekt was en dat er in Valkenburg geen kamers meer vrij zouden zijn.(complimenten voor Fletcher voor de snelle reactie en service) Nog even op booking gekeken en daar was bij Hotel de Eik nog wel een kamer beschikbaar tegen een veel gunstiger tarief. We wilden graag dat weekend en zouden bij geweest zijn met ieder bed, want we wilden toch het meerendeel van de tijd de stad in.We waren erg verrast. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Een erg ruime kamer met douche en wc en alles zeer netjes. Je kan zien dat er veel zorg aan besteed wordt. Het eetgedeelte beneden is erg gezellig en huiselijk. Ligging vlakbij station en lopen naar het centrum is prima te doen. s'morgens een ruim ontbijtbuffet. Kortom een heerlijk weekend gehad en we willen zeker nog eens terug komen bij de Eik. -

Toen we wilden inchecken was er eigenlijk niemand. We dachten waar zijn we nu terechtgekomen. Maar verder verliep alles 100%, ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, en nette kamers, goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. De afstand naar het centrum was goed te doen, maar bij rustig wandelen toch wel 15 min. Wij waren met onze groep van 5 pers. allemaal heel erg tevreden!!! Dus een aanrader!

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, de gastvrouw had veel aandacht voor ons en deed goed haar best het ons naar de zin te maken. Onze kamer was vrij ruim en zojuist opgeknapt (nieuwe vloerbedekking, schilderwerk), prima bed. Op ongeveer 5-10 minuten lopen van centrum Valkenburg, prima te doen!

Personeel was vriendelijk. Kamer was schoon. Ontbijt was goed. Ontbijtzaal netjes/mooi. Fijne bedden. Achterstallig onderhoud kamer. (kapotte tegels, losse kitnaden, etc) Ouderwetse kleine televisie. Isolatie kamer niet optimaal. (ene kant dubbel glas, andere kant enkel?) Gedateerd. Behoeft renovatie.

Kamer was prima. Bed was goed. Douche wel schoon, wel met een douchegordijn. Prima goedkope kamer Erg klein hotel, we waren enige gasten. Ontbijt was erg minimaal, maar voor dat geld ook prima. Kamer was schoon, maar verouderd.

Vriendelijk onthaal, heerlijke bedden, nette kamers, niet luxe en overdreven maar goed. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding was goed. De buitenkant deed een beetje sober aan, het viel ons binnen dus enorm mee!

De matrassen lagen keurig. De kamers waren goed stil voor buitenaf geluiden geen bad, de warm watervoorziening, dwz geen thermostaatkraan, je verbrandde af en toe onder de douche. Een wel erg kleine tv. De kamers zijn gehorig voor binnen geluiden.

Nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Bis in die Nacht noch Getränke verfügbar. Restaurant im Haus. Familienatmosphäre. Die nahegelegene Bahnstrecke ist innen nicht zu hören. Gutes Preis- /Leistungsverhältnis.
