The family who own and manage the hotel are very congenial and flexible. It is clean and functional. I booked a single and paid for that but ended up with a room with two beds that made it very cramped. There was not desk in the room, although there was a desk chair, and so I did not have a work area, which I needed. As a result I worked in the bar, which was OK but could get pretty smokey. While they do have an wireless in the bar and restaurant area, it does not reach the 1st floor rooms where I was located.

The staff was very friendly and spoke English. Free parking was available. The hotel is older, but has been well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and clean. An added plus was a very nice Dutch breakfast which was included in the overall price. Everything was fine.

While the Hotel was clean. The bedroom furniture was old and outdated.The people [staff] were pleasant but lacked any sense of customer relations whatsoever.Overall poor particularly by Irish standard.s There was nothing about this hotel to like.

Het hotel heeft een gunstige ligging op een paar minuten rijden van het leuke Enkhuizen. Er is een mooie landelijke omgeving met een ruime parkeerplaats. Eenvoudig, maar verder goed ontbijt. Als fan van het tv programma 'herrie in het hotel' krijg je zin hier eea te veranderen: de kleine kamers kunnen een opfrisbeurt gebruiken. De tv hangt nu bijna tegen het plafond aan, en zou ook best op het tafeltje kunnen staan.(Dit hebben we dan ook zelf voor ons verbijf uitgevoerd)

niets echt leuk het was er stil, geen sfeer en er was geen rekening gehouden met mijn wens om de kamer dichtbij alles te geven. We hebben hierom moeten vragen, nadat we eerst met de lift en vervolgens met een steile trap verder naar boven moesten.

Schlicht gesagt - Monteurniveau. Sorry, liebe Monteure, aber es ist nun mal was anderes, ob man geschafft nach einem harten Arbeitstag ins Hotel kommt, oder ob man "Urlaub" machen will. Der Zimmerzustand entsprach nicht dem Bild im Internet. Als Frau wurde man in der Gastwirtschaft erst nach einer Viertelstunde bedient. Das Frühstück war spärlich, am 2. Tag gab es schon keinen Orangensaft mehr. Von Brötchen keine Spur. Insgesamt nicht zufriedenstellend.

Zeer gedateerd, geen sfeer. Ontbijt zeer eenvoudig. Er wordt gerookt in de bar, deur naar eetruimte blijft open waardoor gehele begane grond ruikt naar rook.

Nettes Umfeld beim typisch Niederländischen Frühstück. Freie kostenlose Parkplätze hinterm Haus. Gute Verkehrsanbindung.Ruhige Lage. Esswaren vom Vorgänger lagen noch in der Fensterbank. Schamhare in der Seifenschale. Klo nicht gründlich gereinigt. Sehr steile Treppen nicht für Kinder oder ältere Menschen geeignet. Lebensgefahr da blanke Leitungen beim Bezug des Zimmers aus der Bettlampe schauten ( mit elektrischer Spannung ).

De Halve Maen is een zeer eenvoudig hotel en de prijs is er ook naar ( 70 Euro voor een twee persoonskamer incl. ontbijt). Daarvoor krijg je een Spartaans bed uit de jaren zestig met een hardboard bodem die slecht is voor je rug. Handddoeken moeten uit dezelfde periode dateren, zo dun (en klein) zijn ze. Wel zeepje, maar geen shampoo op badkamer. Alles is wel schoon! Bediening is aardig en men probeert er het beste van te maken in deze uithoek die Bovenkarspel is.

prima ontbijt. vriendelijk personeel. De kamer is erg gedateerd en vrij klein. Bedden liggen best goed maar zijn ook erg uit de tijd. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er maar verwacht geen luxe! Dus: simpel maar oké.

Bra läge och rent. Luktade rök överallt inkl inne i rummet och om handdukar och sängkläder. Tråkig frukost, ensidig och ingen möjlighet att välja själv. Saknade youghurt och juice.

Das Hotel war zwar sauber, hat aber der Charme der 70. Das Frühstück ist etwas einseitig. Wer nur 2 Tage bleibt OK aber für länger wirds langweilig.
