Hospitality and efficiency of the staff Room was poor, old, basic and located above the bar to the top of the stairwell. Consequently it was very nosiy during the night, resulting in little rest. |

The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The hotel was very central in the town so it was an easy walk to shops/restaurants |

Great location in the centre of Assen, we'll surely be back! Pretty high temperature in the room but with the fan on it was ok. Noisy on friday night as our room was just opposite of the rock cafe but this wasn't really an issue as we were out til late ourselves. |

Most staff were quite friendly and helpful and all spoke exellent english Peeling wallpaper, broken lights, bathroom plumbing meant that sometimes the toilet wouldn't flush or the shower would stop, the room was cramped and last decorated in the 70s. If it was about 2/3 of the price it would have been reasonable value, but not at full price. |

Bar and restauarnt staff very friendly and service good Requested a preference for a non-smoking room. Room had obviously been used as a smoking room previously and once the smell of the air freshener applied by the cleaners had warn off, the smell of smoke in the room was bad. |

It had a very convient location. I was happy that it had a hair dryer as well. I thought that it was high priced for what it was. |

Location and ease of use. Meals while still pricey by uk standards are good value. Overal simple basic and clean if a bit 1970s in places. |

ligging, parkeergarage (P-bordjes Doevenkamp volgen), ontbijt, bedden en ruime kamer Bijna geen warm water en 1 of andere lolbroek had de wekker op 5:15 ingesteld. Assen 'bruist' in het weekeinde ook snachts dus zorg voor een kamer die niet aan de steeg ligt. |

Het personeel was zich bewust van de overlast. Zij hebben hier al vele malen een klacht over ingediend. van. De receptionist bood uitgebreid zijn excuses aan en kon hier verder uiteraard ook niets meer aan doen. Wij gaan hier in ieder geval niet meer logeren. Ontbijt was uitgebreid. De dame die daar alles regelde deed dat goed en met plezier. Onze kamer (31) bevond zich aan de kant van het "steegje". (Iedereen die daar is geweest weet welke kant dat is) Pal onder ons raam bevindt zich een in-uitgang van een Rock Cafe. Door het rookverbod waren erg veel cafegangers buiten. Zij veroorzaakten ongelooflijke geluidsoverlast. Wij hebben van 01.00 tot 05.30 niet kunnen slapen door de herrie. |

Schoon, netjes, goede bedden Geen aandacht personeel; erg onpersoonlijk, Kamer is armoedig ingericht, armoedig entree, geen faciliteiten op de kamer (oud tv-tje op grote afstand van bed, niets aan de muur, geen koelkastje met drnken of versnapering) |

Het was heel erg gehorig, net of liepen er s'nachts mensen door je kamer, we lagen waarschijnlijk boven de keuken, want s'morgens vroeg zetten ze een machine aan en lag ik te trillen in bed.Personeel was vriendelijk maar chaotisch. |

Het personeel was erg beleefd en aardig. Het ontbijt was voor prijs kwaliteit verhouding erg goed en lekker. Alles werd netjes bijgevuld en niet naar klok gekeken toen er nog mensen om tien voor tien binnen kwamen. Vond alleen de steeg waar mijn kamer boven gelegen was. Erg druk in de nacht [ herrie] was best wel lastig de slaap te vatten. |

vriendelijk personeel. de verwarming deed het niet waardoor de kamer steenkoud was. de badkamer is onder een schuindak hierdoor is de ruimte te beperkt. |
