Hotel de Keizerskroon Hoorn  

Staff was friendly and helpful. Very good location, right in the city center. Good if you expect a clean basic hotel without any luxury.

Some things went wrong: - I booked a double room but got a twin room instead (which was normally cheaper but I paid the full price). - The room had a window without blinds in the roof, right above one of the beds. I didn't notice this until I woke up from the direct sunlight ... before 6AM. - The website claims that the hotel has a private free parking but when I called them, I was told to just park on the streets in the city center as it's free overnight. Not the same thing as a private parking if you ask me ... - Breakfast is ok but very limited.

Good location and close to the Hoorn Stoormtram. Good food.

The rooms were comfortable and the hotel restaurant food was excellent. The hotel is very central to Hoorn and close to public transport.

There was an unpleasant smell in the corridor outside our rooms on a couple of occasions.

After 30 days of " Hotel Hopping " around Europe we ended our trip here at the worst hotel we stayed in.Check in was impersonal and unhelpful. The room we were allocated on arrival ( No 20 ) was like something you would get in a backpackers hostel,it was seriously terrible.It was on the second floor the stairs to which were very very steep and even as mature guests we were not offered any help with our luggage.It was 31 degrees out side and the room was like an oven,the window had not been opened and it had a large window in the ceiling with no blind which let the heat in.We could not stay in this room.The second room we got was still painfully small but a little better and with two fans going constantly was just about bearable.The bathroom was small and awkward,there was no room to stand up in the bath and no shower curtain around the bath,the extraction fan did not work and it had no window !! There was no mirror in the bedroom. There is no secure parking at this hotel and we were not offered any help on where we could park The staff were too busy serving food and drink to the public on the terraces to attend to any guest problems. Breakfast was modest but adequate Hoorn is a nice town but do not stay at this hotel.

Die holländische Version des Bades / der Dusche. 2 von 3 Personen haben sich auf die morgentliche Katzenwäsche am Waschtisch begrenzt. Starke Motorengeräuche ließen die Nacht viel zu früh zu Ende gehen. Zimmer 2, 1.OG

Het uitzicht en ruimte in de kamer. De douche voor oudere erg moeilijk

Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Er is geen lift voor mensen die moeilijk ter been zijn.

De locatie is uitstekend als je gaat voor shoppen.

De 1 persoons kamer was echt te klein. Heel gehorig. En ik kon zelf niet slapen door het lawaai ....vooraal het schuiven van de stoelen op het teraas...savonds na 00.00 uur en sochtend weer rond 7.00 uur..Ik heb het echt als zeer vervelend ervaren. Ik zou persoonlijk nooit meer deze hotel boeken.

Hoorn is een erg leuk plaatsje en het hotel ligt mooi centraal.

De badkamer bij onze kamer bestond in z'n geheel uit een douchebak waarin tevens de WC en de wastafel waren geplaatst. Heel erg klein dus en niet prettig om staande in het douchewater van jezelf of je voorganger naar het toilet te gaan of je tanden te poetsen. De kamer keek uit op een achterplaatsje waar een generator de hele nacht stond te draaien.

Zeer prettig hotel met vriendelijk en vrolijk personeel.

Vriendelijk en service bereidt personeel. Keuken is aan te bevelen, goed verzorgd en smakelijk. Ligging midden in het centrum. Gezellig en ongedwongen. Kamers schoon en verzorgd.

Iets gedateerd en geen lift (ouderen )

De combinatie van een degelijk hotelrestaurant en moderne kamer en badkamer. Vriendelijk personeel en een goede keuken. Voortreffelijke ligging bij schouwburg en museum.

Jammer dat zo'n hotel geen eigen parkeerplaats heeft.
