nice cheap hotel located in a good position in the city. checkin is easy and staff is friendly and the price is unbeatable considering the location. no elevator in the hotel and only stairs. For me that was no problem, but maybe other. |

The bed linens were fairly clean. Good location. The address written in the web site is not actual address of the hotel and it was confusing. It was noisy all the time. Bathroom is not very clean. |

cozy room with nice view of the canals in from of the hotel. Quiet during evening so I had a good night rest. Close to the city centre and everything is within walking distance (Van Gogh museum is only 10 minutes away) room could be a bit nicer, but for me it was ok |

Simple but yet satisfying hotel with a laid back attitude. No fuss and no hassle, so for me that was nice as it gives me plenty of time to do my thing and enjoy the city. Location is within walking distance to the various sight seeing activities, so that is a very big plus. besides the small television, not a single thing. |

The hotel is located on a corner surrounded by water, so that is quite nice. During the evening I didn't hear any street noise, ulike my other hotel, so even though it is located in the centre of Amsterdam, you still can have a decent night of rest. Staff is friendly and price is good. Room is a bit simple so don't expect too much from it. |

The location of the hotel and it ws very cheap. Except the location and the price it was awful. At first it was dirty, very dirty. The blancet was...black, don't talk about the carpet, you cannot walk without shoes. Fortunately??? it was a chasiss smell all over the hotel so you couldnt smell that awful sting!!!! The bathroom was tiny. The window although it was closed...it seamed to be open. |

nice people, nice breakfast, comfy bed. this hotel is good enough for me. the other guest across my room, she was always complaining about everything. please remember you get what you pay for, for the price in this hotel you get a fantastic location and simple but decent room to stay in. not a 5 star huge room with room service as that lady was expecting. that really annoyed me to no end (plus huge bonus points to the reception staff who were really patient and stayed friendly to her even though she was totally delusional and annoying!) |

location was spot on, 2 mins walk from leidseplein. just around the corner from dolphins, bulldog, rookies etc. a few bars that are open until 3am during the week are less than a min walk from hotel. views from our room were fantastic. the room cost us £15 each per night, we got a 3 bedroom en suite for the 2 of us. breakfast was included. the lady on reception was quite rude and we were not told where to go for breakfast which turned out to be in the other hotel across the road. bathroom was really basic and felt a bit dirty. anyone with a key card for the hotel can access your room so you cant really take anything valuable. (please note this hotel was super budget because we booked last minute so was a bargain. some people however paid 3 times what we did. if you get it cheap i'd recommend it but if you are going to pay full price i've stayed in much nicer places in amsterdam.) |

The location of this hotel is ideal for me. Close to the shops, museums, night life and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance!Staff is very nice and helpful and you get a lot of value for the money here. Definitely recommended! The room may be a bit simple, but for me it was more than enough. The more demanding traveller can be put off by this. Otherwise, no problems here :) |

my stay here was very nice and no complaints about the place. Just don't expect a 5-star hotel; you get what you pay for. For me the room was nice and simple with all the stuff that I need (hot shower, comfy bed and a nice tv with a lot of channels - dutch tv has a lot of english stuff!). Location is perfect for me as I'm here to visit the city, not to stay in my room the whole day. Room is not big, but that is normal in Amsterdam (which in itself is quite tiny!) |

One thing....location. Room was horrible for the amount paid. Bathroom had leaks and was moldy. Front desk staff were rude and unaccommodating. Horrible experience and will never go back. |

Everything was bad except location. It is not a hotel. It is a hostel. Hotel is old, dirty, toilet was not workng well, bed was same size as room (both - extremaly small), so we have no space to walk. Room has couple of holes in walls. Everything looks like it 10 years old... |

Not a single thing! This is not a hotel at all! It's not even hostel. Better sleep on the street, than there - it will be cleaner, less noisy and more comfortable! Do not go there even if you receive money for that! |
