Friendly service, it was also a quiet and pretty setting.
Clean room Nice area Friendly employees
Noice of aircrafts in the night.
Close distance to Schiphol airport. Surroundings very green and peaceful.
Lack of comfort in room and bathroom: very thin, SMALL towels, no soap, only two very small bottles of shampoo and shower gel. Breakfast in 1 word: poor!! Hardly any choice ( 1 egg for 2 persons, little bit of cheese and a bit of jam) Lukewarm coffee, 1 cup. had to ask for everything! Very "distant" welcome, no thank you at check-out; Never again!! Bad sleep because of planes so low!
Wonderful place, nice decorations, tasty breakfasts, clean and tidy and very pleasant place to stay at. A walk through the garden made me happy... Close to a golf-course with their club-restaurant in a walkable distance.
We should know that but it was not pleasant - in the village, there are cocks that use to crow early in themorning :-)
Location was in a lovely tranquil setting beside the canal. 15 mins to schipol. Internet was good.
Breakfast too late. No offer of breakfast pack to take away. No one there at 7.30am to check out so had to leave key as I had an early flight.
Lovely setting with well thought out decor and high standard of cleanliness.
Staff were not people orientated and this was particularly clear at breakfast time. Food was not replenished quickly and the staff avoided being in the eating area most of the time, which made it difficult to make them aware of the situation.
My Wife and I stayed here with our two daughters (15 and 19) for three days. We used it as a base to visit Amsterdam and it is a 25 minute drive from the city centre. Easy access to main routes, yet sat in an area of beautiful surroundings and a haven of peace and tranquility. The hotel is small and friendly with lovely staff who made us feel welcome. The views and grounds are superb, with a fantastic garden full of over 100 different types of flowers (you can pick them and make your own displays too). The majority of the food served here is fresh off their own farm and we were provided with a delight of fresh eggs, milk, butter, cheeses, hams, fruits and vegetables. We will definitely come and stay here again. At night there is a bar with drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) plus snacks which you help yourself to and record in an honesty book what you have used. There is no room service and no gymnasium/pool but that was not a negative as we did not want that in a hotel. The lack of room service gives the place a personal, friendly feel - more like staying with friends than a hotel and as the bar area is open for drinks/snacks at night, it isn't an issue.
Most of the tourist information and the room information was only in Dutch. Would have been nice to have translations available in different languages.
The situation. The staff is very friendly.
Individual single room bed is very small and not very confortable.
Very nice place !!!!
The garden was beautiful and peaceful. Great place to relax!
The room was so hot at night and you couldn't open the windows because of the mosquitoes.
Very nice and quiet place.
"Eco" run hotel, very nice and quiet
Location - difficult to get. Breakfast although delicious was too small - you better not be late, there might be nothing left if you sleep too long;)
The wonderful gardens full of beautiful flowers and the surroundings generally are just lovely.
Surroundings - the garden was simply fantastic so large and well maintained but also practical for children to play and have fun. Food area was also superb, clean, fresh, and a nice atmosphere/theme. Staff were all very friendly and spoke excellent English. Room was spotless and had all necessary amenities except tea/coffee but there were free drinks in the garden room which was easily reached - very easy access for disabled too if you're interested with at least 4 nice rooms on ground level. I have never seen doors so big as these in a hotel before - some Dutch must be very tall!
A quiet, serene place but still close to the bustling city of Amsterdam. Perfect location for visiting FloraHolland flower market only a 15-minute drive away.
Big clean room Great wetroom Peaceful location
The property is amazing, lots of green and flowers, soooo beautiful! The room and bathroom were large, clean and very confortable. Breakfast was delicious, very close to Amsterdam and Schiphol airport but out of the noise and busy center. We loved everything, will be back for sure.
It is a nice small hotel, outside Amsterdam. The landscape is absolutely beautiful!
The breakfast was just ok, with not a lot of choice and every day the same.
The Hotel staff were welcoming and accomodating to our needs, room was clean and beautifully decorated.
Excellent hotel's location: quiet, relaxed and beautiful. Travel distance of no more than 45 minutes to The Hague, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht. There are plenty of parking near the hotel, WI-FI in a good quality throughout the hotel and in the yard. Staff was very nice, helpful and considering of all our requests. Definitely recommended and worth the money.
We received a room on the second floor. We were with a little kid and stroller- without elevator it was a little hard going up and down .. Breakfast quite good - but not enough diverse
Great outdoor terras. Nearby highways. Very quiet. Nice staff.
Very nice location. Clean and tidy rooms. Free use of coffee and thee in the dining area.
checking in only possible between 15:00 - 18:00 hours, allthough staff was available until 19:00 hours.
If you want a change from your generic hotel room, whether 2 or 5 star, this is the place for you.Super rural location next to 27 hole golf-course,canal ,fields with cows and sheep and chickens, and the cat in the yard. If you have heard the dutch word "gezellig" and wonder what that entails, step inside this place and it's all around you, from little knick-knacks to fresh flowers everywhere. the yard around this property is one big flower garden and you are invited to cut your own fresh flowers. Beautiful patios surround the building and a nice play-ground for the little ones. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. Clean and comfortable, each room is not only numbered but also named after some flower. You can help yourself to coffee or tea and soft-drinks and beer can be purchased. In the morning breakfast is served in the diningroom. For dinner there is the clubhouse at the golf-course, or you will have to drive into town. All in all a great place and highly recommended. Be aware there is no elevator to the second floor rooms. Breakfast was adequate and sufficient but compared to other hotels we stayed at , can use some improvement, a little more variety maybe, but nothing to stop you from staying at this wonderful place. we hope to go back someday.Close to Schiphol airport
Nothing really other then being aware that you pretty well need a car or bike to go into town and no elevator.
Really enjoyed our stay great bed and breakfast , nice rooms and very friendly staff in a really nice location . A+++++
