Needed to have 24hr front office staff.
we enjoy our stayed, comfort zone and clean.
please read before you book, in deutch version there is not cost showing to be paid for cleaning, in english version of booking it has a small writing hidden COST around 130 euro to be charge for cleaning, and we ask further more, the staffs not very happy, and we have to clean before we left the place.
Near to beach. Quite.
It is relatively cheap compared with Amsterdam. It is in a very quiet area. The facilities they provide are good for say one week holiday.
We did not notice a hidden charge of 100 euros as management fee on top of the Booking price. It is little bit too far from Amsterdam. A car is a must. Any tower is additionally charged.
See above. The beds ware much to soft and to low. No seperate douche. Always via à bath whats not. Easy for older Peaple. No value for money
Peaceful holiday park Noordwijk beaches are very good and not too busy Good sized house and good value Friendly staff Dunes are very tranquil and good to walk around
Smell of drains in the house Lots of inventory items missing Though not really important to us, the info makes it seem that we're liable at the end of the stay if anything is missing. The guy at reception told us not to worry about it :-) Watch out for the nudist beaches nearby. Took us by surprise!
location, value for money, large living room, kitchen utensil provided
no free wifi, additional service charge of over 100 euros for cleaning, extra payment for towels and bed linen
nice calm place helpful staff we would like to return sometime in the future
Great location, close to the sea, very quiet. Friendly professional staff. Very comfortable house with basically everything available (sat TV, HiFi w CD player, Senseo coffee machine, microwave, oven, water boiler, dishwasher, washing machine, toys, two camping chairs, furniture on the terrace... Practical service pack (including toilet paper, dishwashing detergent plus brush, Senseo coffee pads, tea bags, sugar, whitener).
A small piece of soap should be included in the service pack. Cleanliness can be improved. Quite many ants in the ground floor bathroom and kitchen.
I loved the proximity of the bike rental shop across the street and the ease of getting around because of it. This was the highlight of our trip. I like the windows of the house. It was lovely being able to fall asleep to the moonlight because of the vault like windows. I liked that they provided a bag of cleaning supplies (wished they offered at least 2 trash bags for those with longer stays) and that they had a Senseo coffee maker, with pods (really enjoyed being able to have a cup of coffee each morning). My kids loved the back yard and that the TV had a few English speaking stations and a DVD player. The bungalows are simple, a bit rustic, but doable. Make sure you take your receipt if you book online to avoid their computer making a "mistake" and overcharging you. There was a pleasant young lady working at the desk upon check out.
Ì did not like that they initially charged me 3 times more than what my price was from booking.com and that I had to bring it to their attention. Still didn't get my full amount refunded. I didn't like the ants in the kitchen or the construction/eye soar of the grounds as I guess they were fixing the roads. Or that the microwave and oven did not work properly. Also, although the bungalows have a parking spot, depending on its location, it could be a tight spot. I had a hard time getting into mine because it was very small surrounded by trees and shrubs. Unfortunately, the one next door was much larger, but of course couldn't park there. And the stairs within the bungalow--very steep and with metal steps. We all either stumbled or fell down them at some point.
THE LOCATION FOR A VACATION NEAR AMSTERDAM ALLOWED OUR FAMILY TO TAKE GREAT DAY TRIPS AND COME HOME TO A BEAUTIFUL, RELAXING VILLA.
OUR HOT WATER AND HEAT WERE OFF WITH NO NOTICE FOR ALMOST A DAY
location cleanliness, comfort
staff were not always very attentive and available at best 9 to 5 not including Sundays. Lots of little extra charges and deposits not mentioned in original online booking.
One of the reasons that we choose this rental was the proximity to Keukenhof Gardens. It was near the stupendous gardens, sand dunes and a wonderful beach. Beautiful scenery, nice restaurants within walking distance, and lots of activities. We stayed a week and loved the rental. It was comfortable, very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Bungalow was located in a nice landscaped development backing onto a canal. Generally comfortable with most things needed for self catering. Wifi at nominal cost. Close to beach, local town and places such as Leiden, Amsterdam, The Hague.
Eur 90 end of stay compulsory cleaning charge when you are required to strip beds/sweep floor/tidy kitchen before you leave.
A privacy home
To far to walk if u dont have ur own transport. I have to walk about half an hour to the nearest bus station.
Location was good and close to Keukenhof.
We stayed in 3 bed cottage for 4 nights the accommodation was clean but very very basic for the price charged. Reception is not manned after 5pm and also over the weekends so we had to wait for 3 hrs for an emergency before we could get sorted. We had ants and bugs in the property. We were expected to throw our own rubbish, take all the laundry out and clean the floors.. Which we wouldn't mind if it was very cheap accommodation but for the price we paid I feel these services should be provided. Location was good and close to Keukenhof.
The villas are spacious and well-located - close to Keukenhof and the beach. Ideal for people traveling with a dogs (only one dog per villa allowed though). Although there are lots of holiday villas, there's a sense of privacy because of the well maintained natural fences.
We were two people traveling and we stayed only for two nights, therefore the compulsory housekeeping fee of 109 euros felt completely out of proportion - especially because you have to clean the house and remove all sheets from bedding yourself on you departure. Otherwise they will charge you extra for any "cleaning activity" you have not completed.
Great location especially for the bulb fields, beautiful countryside, oasis of calm.
Adding 50%+ to the advertised TOTAL price for service + tax was very deceptive marketing (€115 extra in small print on €200 bill). Still very good value for money, but stating €300 upfront would have been better, especially as the apartment wasn't totally clean when we arrived and we were expected to provide own towels.
Pleasant safe environment with clean comfortable accommodation. When the proposed house was unsuitable for an elderly relative the staff managed to change us to another property with no problem. Lovely area with easy access to the coast and very close to the famous tulip fields and gardens.
Nice nice holiday accommodation, few miles from Keukenhof Gardens. Located in the middle of the bulb fields. Station with in about 10 minute drive with free parking regular trains to Amsterdam journey time about an hour cost €9 approximately We had a hire car not sure how easy to access by bus
The bungalow was in a very quiet and nice environment. It was secure with free parking available. Staff was flexible and friendly. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well equipped. Overall we had a pleasant stay and it was very good value for money!
Although the bungalow was clean thoroughout, we had some problems. Some of the glasses were dirty and had stains on them so had to wash them. Then we washed everything, because who knows.. When we left we also had to wash all the dishes and put them back to their places, take off all the used sheets, take out the trash and also clean the countertops in the kitchen. It would be just fine if you would not be charged €109 for cleaning! Also, there were ants running around everywhere in the bungalow. There was an ice cube tray provided but no freezer. :D
Great location close to Keukenhof and the beaches. Easy to get to Amsterdam and other locations. Very well equipped house. Nice and quiet area.
A few light bulbs, bedside lamps etc were not working when we arrived-that should have been checked.
The location was great as a center point for all our planned activities. And the neighborhood was pleasant and peaceful. Canals in and around park are a nice touch. Service was very friendly.
Our rental #147 smelled VERY stuffy and OLD, like it hasn't been aired out in months. I could not find the smell on any particular object (not the sofa or curtains) I think its in the walls or foundation? We had the doors and windows opened our whole stay, didn't help. Also the storage closet had its own "mold" smell. And there were ants on kitchen sink! I didn't complain, because I didn't want it sprayed since we had our dog with us and it was only for 2 nights. The garden was sad too, never knew you could have a moss lawn. For the price I paid, this place was not worth it. The smell issue really needs to be addressed. And there were definitely nicer house in the park to rent.
A lot of space, convinient parking, nice location (but only if you come by car!), good possibilities to walk around, walking distance to the sea, not far from Keukenhoff by car, lots of tulip fileds around.
No free towels, wifi, soap or shampoo, but you can pay extra for it. You have to clean up before you leave. Shower was not modern and convinient, but not so bad.
