The service was execellent, We went for an anniverasry weekend fully expecting to eat out or in the hotel reataurant, but the view was so interseting and the room service soooooo good that we cuddled up on the sofa an enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and changing view!!! |

It has a spectacular location overlooking the river on the edge of Rotterdam, with views of the ships and barges passing continuously by. Vlaardingem is an attractive town and Rotterdam is easy to get to by train. Our room was very hot and stuffy - the hotel should consider air conditioning. |

The location. We stayed for 7 nights and the last three we had a Riverview suite. We've got an upgrade for quite a small extra amount. The view was absolutely fantastic, ships are passing just a couple of meters away.The room is big and nice. Some complained about the reffinery on the other shore, I did not care, it is part of my job and I enjoyed the sight of it, besides, in the night, all the lights on the water were simply beautiful. If we count the "legions" of little, cute rabbits which were hoping arround the hotel, the picture is complete. Closing the doors is very noisy and people tend to slam them all the time at inappropiate hours. We had a room which had a connection door to the next one and we heard very well what the neighbours did or spoke. The frame of the windows should be cleaned more often, they were full of dark, disgusting dust. The rest was just fine. |

the riverside veiw and the quiteness of the hotel plus the pubiic transport was close by they had a surge of people staying there that weekend and for our first night we didnt get the room we had booked ,i think they could have done more to compensate us missing out on the room we booked as it was booked through you |

The general ambience of the place plus the view. The rooms are also very well appointed. Having to pay for breakfast on top of the room rate, which for UK residents is not cheap. |

Staff are helpful and friendly and all worked smoothly. Food and service good. Overlooking the water the sound of wash from ships falling onto the shoreline, bird song from the surrounding gardens and all the lights from the refinery over the water makes for a rather lovely atmosphere. |

This hotel is excellent and I would definately reccomend it to anyone. The staff are excellent, helpful and friendly. The rooms are very good, with awesome views. I would definately stay here again. |

The position of the hotel, and the outlook from both the room and the resturant, at the busiest port in the world. Our dinner on the first night, my food was not cooked,so i sent it back, meanwhile my wife had to eat her meal before it went cold, so we eat alone, and it was our 33rd wedding anniversary irather spoilt the night, I did complain but to no avail. |

Bereikbaarheid, inmiddels bekende servicegerichtheid van de staf. Voorbeeldje: toen ik 's avonds het hotel uitging wilde ik mijn camera veilig bergen. Geen kluis op de kamer, kluis in de receptie te klein. Camera werd in kantoor op geborgen. Zie boven: Het wordt tijd dat er kluisjes op de kamers komen. Er zijn weliswaar kluisjes (gratis) achter de balie, maar die zijn zo klein, dat een spiegelreflexcamera er niet in past. Ik heb dit overigens ook kenbaar gemaakt. |
