Delta Hotel City Center

Location on Damrak. Spacious bathroom. No nonsense check-in and check-out. Middle of day and night activities in Amsterdam. Good place to rest after your activities in town.

The location probably merits the normal rates for this Hotel (rather high) but apart from the good location the overall appeal is not very good although remodeling was being carried out. High on the list was "none-availability of internet", a no-no in this modern age. Lights in the room were dim.

The first thing is that a 50 euro deposit was required on arrival which I wasn't aware of. The main problem is that my 'room' was absolutely horrible. It was very small and it didn't have any windows at all. The paper-wall was falling off, and it had a very few and poor furniture. The door didn't colse very well. But the worse thing is that 2 big rectangular holes of about 30 by 60 cm were in the wall as if they were still in middle of some kind of building works. I looked through these holes and I saw something like a false ceeling or some thing like an area for a conduct These was abosolutely dirty, filthy full of dust and even some rubbish, bags, plastic bottles. This is even worse considering that the price for one night is about 130 E

The location is excellent: 5 minutes from the central station, 5 minutes from all the shopping area.

The bed was not comfortable at all and the breakfast buffet was very poor. The hotel was very modest although it had been renewed...I don't really see what was changed (beside the windows maybe). I didn't think it was that cheap and it definitely didn't reach the 3 stars! More of a 2 star hotel, definitely!

It was very close to station.

The hotel was cheaper than the rest and located close to central station. Bathroom was clean.

The room had bad lightning, stained carpet, smelly curtains. poor service for a 3star hotel.

Location, price, facilities and nice staff. I went to Amsterdam with my mother and it was quite ok.

It doesn't look so clean, but it is not dirty. It is also noisy, but nothing really problematic.

absolutely nothing it was an appalling hotel

everything. It was dirty, sqalid, the rooms were old, damp, dirty. The furniture was not even good enough to give to a charitable cause. I would nevver recommend the hotel again. I anmamazed that it has a 3 star classification

The location of the hotel was perfect. Made it easy for me and the other guests to access all local amenities with just a walk away
