Derlon Hotel  

The staff was very friendly and the room in the "dependance" was large, very clean, perfect!

The dependance has no elevator. No problem for us, but for others it might be a problem. Breakfast for 25 euro's is a lot. Have breakfast elsewere.

This was a perfectly located motel with excellent service. Thank you very much from Australia....

Fantastic staff who to be honest couldn't do enough to help us, I was part of a large group of cyclists taking part in the amstel gold race and the staff were wonderful throughout our stay. Ggreat place to stay.

The hotel has a very elegant design and offers a cosy atmosphere and an excellent location in the historical site

Thank you for a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was quite novel. Of most amusement was the glass shower and toilet - not always to everyone's taste, but in our case ............ well, amusing! I would like to explore the other rooms but suspect your prices are quite high. Nevertheless, a good stay and I was able to catch up with Dutch friends in the area. Best wishes, Lance Clarke

You only expensive brandy in your limited bar ! Not able to get a late night snack after a long and gruelling culture tour of Maastricht by night during Carnaval !

The location is perfect.

Not really clean. There were a lot of hairs on my bed. Elevator is very unstable.

Room was very small, and built in the roof so I hit my head a couple of times on the lower parts. No business facility.

The location and the atmosphere

The rooms offered in the building a few meters from the hotel are not worth 4 stars

The Derlon is a very boutique type of hotel. Great location downtown of Maastricht and the room was excellent. Eye for detail -we really liked the branded duck for the bath- and very likeable staff.

Nice setting in the olv Plein and near the centrum and Vruithof. The breakfast was tasty with a nice selection of foods. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne in the room--a very nice touch!

One of our rooms overlooked the road and was noisy. A delivery truck made a lot noise early in the morning. People talked in the roadway until wee hours of the night.

Very convenient/central location.

The concept of having a bathroom door in frosted glass that doesn't lock and has the word bathroom etched out in big bold letters - effectively defeating the purpose of the frosting - needs to be re-examined! Fairly basic look and feel of the furniture and fittings in the room and bathroom. No double beds - not even queen size. Joining two single beds is definitely not the same thing.

It is located very close to the city center , shopping and restaurants. The room is big even with a sitting area and the staff is helpful. The room is clean but they neglect to clean the coffee cups which are stained, and the ironing board doen't work. The maintenance staff should keep on top of things!!
