The location to the wonderful shopping area.

I found particularly special to have breakfast on sunday among the roman ruins present in the cellar

It is somewhat inconvenient that there is no special place to keep bicycles, specially since the square where it is located is quite busy at nights. However, I don't know if it is so important to the average client for this hotel in particular.

Service was excellent. Enjoyed being close to shops and entertainment.

I would love to have coffee and tea making facilities in the room.

The staff has always been very friendly, even let me change my room to one of the larger appartments.

Not so much against the hotel, but the surrounding area is very noisey at night, and in the morning those church bells are brutal. Though they do leave earplugs in the rooms.

Small lobby,reception desk is basically within the bar area - only one person and computer on reception which meant a long queue at check out, for such an expensive hotel you'd think that they could afford a second computer. The room smelled of damp. There was no sound proofing inside or out so we could hear every noise in the street and in the corridor including lots of banging doors.

Friendly, efficient and easy going staff. Unexpected special breakfast room (part of a museum) creates a nice atmosphere.

If discounted right, a real good choice on one of the best locations down town. Free earplugs in bathroom.

A bit noisy and therefor needed to use the offered earplugs....

I like the cozy rooms.

I found the staff at breakfast were not very much concerned with the guests.

The hotel is very convenient to shopping and restaurants in the city centre

The housekeeping was inaequate. The toiletries were absent the first day and garbage was not removed over my 5 day stay

De locatie van het hotel was perfect. Toen wij melding maakten van onze tegengevallen verwachtingen, kregen wij een fles wijn aangeboden van het hotel. Dit konden wij waarderen.

Op basis van de reputatie van het hotel hadden wij hooggespannen verwachtingen. Wij hadden een kamer geboekt onder de voorwaarde dat "geen restitutie mogelijk was". Toch hadden wij voor de hoge prijs een luxe kamer verwacht. Onze kamer was echter erg klein met geen mogelijkheden om je bagage en kleding op te bergen. Geen kast, geen plank, geen plek om je tassen neer te zetten, alleen 4 hangers voor je jas. De prijskwaliteitverhouding beoordelen wij dan ook als slecht (m.n. in vergelijking met andere hotels van deze klasse). Daarnaast viel ook de ochtend van vertrek tegen. Wij moesten om 12.00 uur uitchecken (vonden wij erg ruim en prettig), maar om 10.00 uur werd al door de housekeeping geklopt of we al weg waren. En om 10.45 uur nog eens.
