Designhotel Maastricht - Hampshire Eden  

Close to all facilities and parking. Modern, clean and interesting hotel. Friendly staff.

Lack of cupboards/hanging space.

Liked the restaurant very much like the carpeting in corridors, liked the the themed rooms, liked the shower (shape, generous size, water pressure), like having a corner room, liked the lighting scheme and design of lamps.

Disliked narrowness of room (entrance of the room was directly into the sink!), disliked lack of accessories in room (0nly 1 bottle of water of 25cl, which is not very generous or welcoming for 2 adults). Disliked heating system: noisy (rattling noise in strange patterns, very disconcerting) and took a long time to get the room to a comfortable temperature

The hotel is very trendy and in a good location, near the railway station and, if you travel by car, it's a short walk from the car park.

The restaurant prices were rather expensive but the menu was varied. The wine list was overpriced with the second cheapest bottle selling at 30+€

The location of Eden design hotel is excellent: 5 min walking from the Maastricht train station and in a walkable distance to any touristic & cultural destination in the town. The design of the room was modern, sophisticated with an urban chick. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room's facility was poor (E.G. no cattle, stationery, personal cosmetics, no mini bar) The gym was tiny and unwelcomed. Providing bicycles to the hotel guests free of charge is recommended.

The staff at the reception of the hotel was not very friendly and the service was very poor. We did not feel welcome at all at this hotel. Having stayed in Maastricht in several hotels in the past years, this was the most dissapointing one. Staff in the restaurant was very friendly though but we did not eat there (just asked for a chair and some ice). The design of the hotel tries to be "minimalistic" but it ends up being unconfortable because in the room we got, there wasn't even a small table or similar to place small items (phone, wallet, coins). I would not recomend this hotel despite the location and the price.

This very impressive hotel is so close to the railway station and all facilities. It makes a perfect base for a traveller spending a few days in Maastricht or just passing through. Interrnet access is free. I'd come back here every time.

Very nice design modern hotel.Near station and walking distance from centrum and Vrijthof square. Was expensive but was during Andre Riue show

Bath was a nightmare!!! Was like a skating rink and no grabrails. Wouldn't be permitted in Scotland. Suggest non slip mats and grabrails be introduced to avoid this obvious safety eisk

Well thought out, original, friendly, pretty.

Very good location between the railway station and the city centre.

Compact rooms are extremely basic (there is no table if you need to use your laptop). I find the room rate a bit too expensive considering that you need to cross the corridor if you need to reach your bathroom!!
