The restaurant is also perfectly suitable for receptions. Our restaurant is much favoured among business people. We offer you the accommodation to combine business and pleasure in a culinary way. Hotel In the building that dates from around 1800, recently seven new rooms were realised, all equipped with contemporary comforts like shower/toilet, tv and telephone.
The guests can also enjoy the view of the roof terrace, specially created for the hotelguests. For a romantic night try our bridal suite, which -apart from all the comforts of the other rooms- is equipped with a bath.

Endroit calme et très agréable, très bon restaurant: cuisine raffinée et je vous suggère en dessert "crème brulée" avec une glace, une liqueur, c'est un pur bonheur ! Les chambre sont spacieuses et très confortable. Un autre très bon moment quand vous irez prendre votre petit déjeuné dans la véranda pour profiter de la vue sur le canal... |

Het hotel beantwoordde aan onze verwachtingen. Het personeel was vriendelijk en in ons geval behulpzaam bij het gebruik van internet. Wij waren wel tevreden maar vonden het jammer dat er zo kort na de verbouwing al te zien was dat het onderhoud niet wordt bijgehouden: afbladeren van verf bij de balkon balustrade, slecht onderhoud van het hout, verschillende lampen waren kapot. De "luxe" douche op de begane grond werkte niet (kalk?). |

Het hotel ligt op wandelafstand van de historische kern van Franeker. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Te veel meubelen in te krappe ruimte. Schrijftafel, frigootje en twee zeteltjes stonden in de weg. |

Plezierige persoonlijke aandacht, kleinschalig. Prima ontbijtservice. Erg leuk gelegen op de rand van stad(s)centrum en platteland ! Voorzieningen in kamer waren niet helemaal als verwacht (geen bad terwijl dit wel was aangegeven), maar i.h.a. goed. |

We deden dit hotel aan tijdens onze Elf-steden route met de sloep. We konden aan de eigen aanlegsteiger liggen. Fantastisch uitzicht. Prima eten en dito kamers. Alleen jammer dat de voorkant aan een drukke doorgaande weg ligt. Maar door de goede isolatie hoor je de (vracht)auto's bijna niet. We komen hier nog eens terug! |

Het allerleukste was eten op het houten terras aan het water.Verder was de kamer uitstekend ingericht (wij hadden zo.n massagekraan in de douche); Het geheel zag er gezellig en niet tè uit (iets te veel dingen aan de muur) . We vonden de stadsherberg een aanrader! |

Goede ligging ten op zichte van de stad en dicht bij de natuur. Kamer was aan de straatkant gelegen en daardoor erg gehorig en ruimte was beperkt. voor een nacht geen probleem,maar voor langer verblijf een groot nadeel. |

Zimmer sehr klein und ohne Belüftung. Soweit Fenster vorhanden, sind diese fest eingebaut und nicht zu öffnen. Man muss nachts also die Tür offen lassen. 'De Stadsherberg' liegt unmittelbar an einer verkehrsreichen Einfallstraße und ist so leicht gebaut, dass jeder schwere Lkw das Gebäude erschüttert. Steile Treppen; bescheidenes Frühstücksangebot. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt vorzeitig abgebrochen. |

Petit hôtel charmant, situé au bord de la rivière, à proximité de la ville. Aucune déception sauf la chambre un peu petite. Hôtel très agréable par beau temps : terrasse.
