Rooms with romantic canal view and with direct view of the Royal Palace/Wester church in some with balcony.

Other rooms are more quiet at the backside with garden view. There are also rooms reserved for non-smokers.

Please note: quadruple rooms on the canal side do not have a balcony.

Hotel Di-Ann is located close to Dam Square, Anne Frank House, the charming Jordaan district with its picturesque market, shops, restaurants, art galleries and the shopping area of Kalverstraat.
Central Station, Leidseplein and the Flower market are a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Closeness to city centre

Asked for twin room. Got double. Room very small - more like a back packers hostel.

The situation. Room was adequate for my needs. Nice balcony, with view. Breakfast sufficient--brown bread, eggs, juice, cereals coffee, etc.

I found nothing to complain about. Lovely to have the friendly cat sleep with me one night!!!

Cheap and clean, very near to Dam square. In general good value for the money.

Small room, typical steep Dutch stairs, quite unconvenient to climb with luggage.

Central locattion.

the location was very good. daily cleaning service. breakfast until 10.30

I had a nice balcony/porch

The stair access, as noted 39 steps to reception and 34 more to my floor; all steep, and unsafe (as an architect I am CONCERNED)my single bed was in reality a youth bed usa standards, quite small and narrow; but the the room was only about six feet wide!!!!!

Quiet place, excellent location, friendly staff

Lack of elevator (lift) for older costumers in highest floor of the hotel. Wider assortiment of food and drinking at breakfast time

Open 24 hrs. Staff very friendly. Eating breakfast on the balcony. The safe was excellent and so was having a fridge.

Location, location, location! For the money, it was ideal. Although many have complained about the stairs, I think these are only a problem for the old of infirm. They are amazingly steep, but are certainly no reason to ignore the hotel. The rooms are clean and functional, and the showers are fantastic - this is all you need in Amsterdam.

The balcony was like a ticket to another world! The staff was friendly and very helpfull! I booked a singel and got a double only had to pay for a single!!!!

Shower floor and curtain looked like a science project, mold and slime and lots of it. dirty drinking glasses looked like they were wiped with a toilet rag! But everything good makes up for this!!!
