I got the room with canal view. It was a really fantastic room to enjoy Amsterdam. The location of the hotel is great near to museum, shoPPing street (luxury,antiques or trendy), and has an easy access by tram no 1,2 and 5. The room is not really sound Proof. In Amsterdam you can have Problem with these as there are many clubber who like to yell at night. I would Prefer not to have Painting in the room. |

The staff was so helpful and very friendly. For us, we wished we would have stayed off the beaten path. Street very busy and noisy. Our fault for not thinking about the location. |

Size, cleanliness and comfort of room, very convenient central location to public transport, shops, museums, restuarants in Amsterdam no second key available for guests and one has to ask for a second room id card |

The reception staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable with superb views of one of the main canals in the city. Trams operated from just outside the hotel and the train station was just 15 minutes away. A range of restaurants was within easy walking distance. |

Good location. Refurbished first floor rooms have double glazing and are quiet - other floors may be less so. |

The hotel was beautiful and centrally located. It had all the amenities to make it a perfect stay. I wish they had parking or a discount for parking. |

Wonderful room, clean and big, right in front of the canal. The hotel is very close to restaurants and many night lifes. In a medium walk you can reach the museums and Anne Frank House. The tram pass just in the corner. The hotel has a lift, very rare in amsterdam. They could have free internet. |

great location and easy to find, staff were friendly and helpful. the room was clean and of a decent size, not as nice looking as on the internet pictures but still excellent compared to many other hotels i have stayed in in amsterdam. the room did not let as much noise in as i expected given the central location. good place to book if you are going to a gig at the melkweg! two single beds pushed together instead of a double but then it is hard to find a room with a double bed anywhere in amsterdam. also only a mirror in the bathroom not on the dressing table, nothing major would not put me off booking this hotel again. |

The location of the hotel was excellent, right by the tram stop and key parts of town. Safe location and you could walk to most sites if you prefer. The room was large, especially for Europe, and the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Because of the location to the tram it can be a little noisy at night but nothing that isn't bearable. |
