Excellent location in the heart of Leidseplein which is an elcellent base for exploring the city. The rooms at the back of the hotel were quiet but lacked the unique Dutch character we were expecting. |

Helpfulness of staff, view of canal, convenient location - good for access to restaurants and visitor attractions Subject to some street noise early hours of morning from revellers ! |

The hotel is very nice and the staff was quite friendly. It is also in a great location near the Leidseplein (but not too close) and the Vondelpark. The decor is a little bit dated but everything worked well. |

The room was a very good size, well equipped (including tea and coffee facilities) and although I checked in very late I got a good room. Very conveniently placed for trams to the central station and a short walk from the Rijksmuseum. The breakfast room is very dark and the full breakfast a bit expensive for a cold buffet. The "small" breakfast is very restrictive and probably worse value. Beware that the hotel is on a noisy corner which could be a problem on busy weekends. They advertise wifi throughout the hotel but I couldn't get a connection on the third floor. |

The room was ok, very nice shower and good view over the city. Very helpful personel and located in a nice part of town. One thing I didn't like was the breakfast buffet, it was very expensive and the choice was very poor. I believe when offering a buffet for € 12.5 it should at least include some warm dishes like simple bacon and eggs, the only thing that came close was a bowl of raw eggs and a pot of boiling water where you had to boil them yourself. |

The hotel is perfectly located overlooking a nice canal - few minutes to the centre and just round the corner - night life! Easy to get anywhere - tram just few steps away, and bus round the corner, rent of bikes on the next street! We had a problem with the shower, it was very difficult to switch it to the shower and then back, probably too much limestone.... but other than that our stay in the hotel was very pleasant. |

Hotel Estheréa is ideally located on one of the most beautiful and quiet canals in the centre of he city, only 300 metres from the Dam Square and the Royal Palace. |
The hotel is situated in the historical heart of the city. Within walking distance you willl find many shopping streets and department stores. |
Situated in vibrant Leidseplein, Amsterdam American Hotel boasts elegant Art Nouveau design and an excellent location, close to Vondel Park and some of Amsterdam's finest music venues and restaurants. |
The atmosphere of a residential area, and still only three minutes from the heart of Amsterdam: the lively Leidseplein. That is the charm of this cosy hotel. |
