Interesting and convenient location (right on the canal). No affordable wireless internet access (the only option was T-Mobile wireless, charging per minute). |

Hotel is in the middle of the city Bathroom was antiquated and needs renovation - carpet under washbasin as soon as you come into the door is unhygienic.Parking around the hotel was very limited and I had to pay Euro 40 for an overnight garage - next time I come without a car |

The perfect setting for discovering Amsterdam. Everything is in walking distance. Staff, charming, friendly and attentive. The hotel is a jewel. My single room was well above the standard most hotels offer. I am to return to Amsterdam in six months time and this will be my first choice. |

Stayed here at Christmas because the location is so good. Take tram 1 or 2 from central station. Close to museums and vondel park and only 15 minutes walk (or tram and 5 minutes) from the red light district and night life Stayed in this hotel at Xmas when we got a much nicer room for less money. Room was comparatively disappointing this time, for what we paid. Room was adequate, clean and functional but it was only average b/fast - not included. Hotel has a room to store baggage once you check out but this was full and we had to leave our cases in the hotel reception area which seems a touch risky. |
