Close to shops and restaurants. Good breakfast. Convenient for Sluis and Bruges. Close to ferryport in Zeebrugge. Room rather basic. Staff at check-in not very helpful. |

We received a friendly welcome and reception was always helpful with any questions about the facilities of the hotel and the local area.We had previously visited Sluis and chose the small town purposely and we were not disappointed.Having a car helped us explore the area more widely.Our reservation was room only and we tended to eat out.Eating at the hotel would have worked out rather expensive. Room access was by electronic card which gave a slight problem at one stage and required reissue.The spring loaded doors to rooms could be a bit annoying after midnight if residents were returning and lacked consideration.We were still very happy with our hotel choice. |

Easily accessible and directions good. Right by town. Furniture in room was stained and room just needed little bits of diy doing to it. Otherwise hotel was fine. |

The room was excellent and the service was of a high quality The breakfast was poor for the price charged. I had breakfast elsewhere on the second day of my stay. |

Very nice hotel, spaciuos rooms and bathrooms, very well furnished The staff was not friendly, we were traveling with a baby and we asked for a baby cot but when we arrived there was no one in the whole hotel, at 1 am we had to change room (two separate beds) for a twin size bedroom so that the baby could sleep between us. Moreover they wanted to charge us: 50 €for room change, 20 €for baby cot (they have none in the hotel) 70€ for breakfast we never took |

Sluis is a lovely town, with plenty shops, restaurants and wonderful scenery. The Dikke Van Dale is the best hotel in the area. No criticisms at all |

Een geweldige plaats is Sluis . slecht ontbijt b.v. geen warm eitje geen ontbijtkoek geen beschuit.rotte bananen. Donker ontbijtzaal geen kans om smorgens buiten te ontbijten. Wij komen zo niet meer terug .Volgende keer een ander hotel want in sluis komen wij heel graag terug. |

vlugge check-in / betalen bij aankomst verder geen formaliteiten de TV op de kamer werkte niet, de stop van de lavabo zat strop en ging er niet meer uit. Kamer op de 3de verdieping tot 3 x toe terug naar de receptie gemoeten omdat de magnetische kaart om de deur te openen niet werkte. |

Hotelkamer is schoon,badkamer ruim en compleet, ontbijt goed.Veel aandacht besteed aan inrichting en uiterlijk gebouw kamer erg klein,kamer erg donker, ramen te klein en gedeeltelijk geblindeerd, licht voorziening in kamer matig,s'nachts erg warm o.a.door te dikke deken. Baliepersoneel reageert erg direct omdat zij het zo goed weten. |

Nähe zum Ort Sluis, Nähe zum Strand, Zimmer war groß und mit Kaffemaschine ausgestattet 1.) Probleme bereits bei der Buchung im April, als man im Hotel (durch einen Systemfehler) davon ausging, dass ich bereits übernachtet hatte; jemand hatte sich angeblich in meinem Namen angemeldet, wurde nie richtig geklärt; keine aktive Info vom Hotel, ich musste wiederholt per mail und telefon nachhaken 2. |

aanzicht van het hotel is mooi maar daar houdt het mee op Bar was niet open , Casino in het hotel. Zeer slechte ontbijtruimte en duur voor hetgeen je krijgt.Klein bed. |
