Everything. It was excellent and Rose made our stay so enjoyable. Perfect location!
A perfect apartment just 2 minutes walk from Amsterdams RAI. A lovely place and Rose is so friendly and helpful.
- House is located in a quiet environment easily accessible via tramways. - You can enjoy the whole luminous top floor of a quiet house in a quiet environment. - Bathroom is great, bedroom is big and comfortable, and the terrace is big and well oriented. - Nice documentation about what to do. - Tasty breakfast: not too abundant but with delicious bio products - Rose is really friendly and open to suggestions to improve (if possible :-))
- The house is not equipped with a lift and stairs are quite steep - There is no actual kitchen and the table where you eat (if not on the terrace) is quite narrow. - The apartment is clean and certainly cleaner than many hotels but some details could be improved: WC aeration is quite dusty for instance.
Comfortable stay in a quiet residential area; excellent host; close proximity to public transport, within walking distance to shops and restaurants; parking garage
Microwave is the only means of preparing meals, which may not be an issue for short stays but was a limitation for us over a week.
If I had to say, maybe the stairs
The apartment is very spacious, clean and the terrace to the patio is fantastic for relaxing, having breakfast etc. Rose and her husband are very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable all the time.
Lovely, spacious and comfortable apartment only a couple of blocks from the conference center, grocery shopping and great restaurants. Separate TV/sitting area and outside balcony with table and chairs.Nice walk-in shower, huge bathtub, double sinks in the bathroom. There's a fridge and microwave and plates, cups and utensils. There's also a coffee machine (pods supplied), and a tea maker. Rose, the hostess, was really nice and helpful. Breakfasts were very good at requested times. Great stay!
Really, the main negative to consider is whether or not you are up to climbing some fairly narrow stairs to the third floor. And there is no locked door between you and the main house, just a private set of stairs. There is a separate locked entrance to the outside. However, these were not a problem for us. A bigger TV wouldn't be bad, and a big carpet in the bathroom would also be nicer. There's no cooking stove, but we didn't really need one. Bottom line: We loved our stay there, and would go back.
love the place and the people were very nice . very homely good surroundings will be back for sure next year !!
Very friendly. Spacious and close to Rai
location, great neighborhood, nice bathroom, quiet, owner very accomodating
apartment not completely separate from the other units.
All details, the smell of our fresh bedlinnen, the various number of coffee tastes, the furniture and decoration, the breakfast marmelade, ...
Few rooms, nice bathroom. Coffee machine :)
Too dangerous stairs :(
The owners of this B&B are super friendly and care for your privacy. You cannot get more square meters for this price in Amsterdam. The bathroom could hardly be better. The private terrace must be a joy when the weather is nice. The location was perfect for me -- 5min walk from the RAI conference centre ---, and also for tourists: a nice place to come 'home' after a day of sightseeing. The B&B is located in a quiet street. Parking: for 10EUR/day, you'll have your own private parking spot at a 10min walk from the B&B. A little bit small, but no problem if you're not too bad at parking.
Minor business inconvenience: no suitable desk to work with a laptop. For the paranoid: the rooms, located on the 3rd floor, are directly accessible though the staircase (no door that can be locked to isolate/secure "your" area). Your 3 rooms (bedroom, bathroom, living room) have a door without a lock.
