The location was perfect - right in the centre of the old town near the university, the Jan Van Eyck Academie and the city fortifications. It was great to stay in a hotel that doubled as an art gallery - very quirky! We stayed in the top loft room and it was spacious and quiet. Very close to some wonderful bars and restaurants too. Staff was very helpful and chatty.

Beautiful place to stay in one of the nicest cities in Europe. Great location, very relaxing, perfect breakfast. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Very inspiring decorated hotel. Romantic and art goes together. The hotel gives you a feeling of comfort and luxury. Just a two minute walk to the centre. Breakfast was excellent. All fresh ingredients. Good beds.The host was a really gentleman; he gave us inside information about where to eat at local restaurants and visiting sightseeings that are not so touristic. I'd like to come over another time.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean. The location was excellent - near the City centre but lovely and peaceful. The breakfast room and courtyard were charming and unique features. At Euro 179.00 for the room, to then have to pay for breakfast and parking as additional costs, put a slight tarnish to the experience. The total cost for one night came to Euro 230.00 Whilst the hotel was lovely, at Euro 230.00 a night I could have found something just as nice for less, had I had the time to look at more hotels.

This hotel functions as an art gallery with a small number of rooms upstairs-- the location in Maastricht is excellent---on a quiet square, lots of local people, great restaurants a few blocks (however you define a few cobblestones narrow streets from the 17th and 18th centuries!). You can walk just about anywhere or you can join the locals and rent bikes. My husband and l loved our stay.

Excellent location No lift. Had to haul luggage up several flights of stairs. Silly prices of extras - 15 Euros each per day for ordinary breakfast (cooked option was a boiled egg) and 15 Euros per day for difficult parking.

Dit was geen hotel. Alleen een kamer met ontbijt. Je kon alleen op je kamer zitten. Ontbijt apart betalen. De naam hotel is verkeerd. Er zijn geen enkele voorzieningen. Geen zitje, geen drankje niets.

De persoonlijke en prettige ontvangst. De centrale ligging. Origineel huis en originele kamers. Het lijkt meer op b+b dan op een hotel. Moderne ruime badkamer. De meeste kamers zijn laag, vooral waar de dikke houten balken zijn. Ook zijn de kamers nogal donker. Wat de kunst op de kamers betreft; 'je moet er een lhouden' .

Een hotel in een galerie is erg bijzonder, kunst op de kamer, leuk ingericht. Ontbijt zag er goed uit. Je moet wel met je bagage de smalle trapjes beklimmen (er is geen lift en er zijn 3 verdiepingen). Je moet wel je eigen weg vinden (bijv. geen ontvangst of uitleg bij het ontbijt, afrekenen in de keuken).

Locatie, gastvriendelijkheid, ruime kamer, mooi pand Erg gehorig, geen hotelreceptie en we misten een bordje voor aan de deurknop met nietstoren/vrij voor schoonmaak. Hierdoor was het voor zowel ons als de schoonmakers onduidelijk wanneer zij binnen konden komen.

Mooie kamer, heerlijk bed. De locatie was fantastisch, vlakbij het Vrijthof in Maastricht. Het ontbijt was prima, mooi muziekje erbij. Ik vond de galerie zelf niet veel voorstellen, niet mijn smaak qua 'kunst', maar dat is heel persoonlijk. De gangen vond ik wat smal.

Geen doorsnee hotel, zeer sfeervol, gelegen in een karakteristieke buurt, met restaurants en café's om de hoek. Uitgebreid en luxe ontbijt in oude kapel, temidden van kunst. Ontbijt is behoorlijk geprijsd ( €15), maar er zijn genoeg andere mogelijkheden in de buurt om voordeliger te ontbijten . Zeer aan te bevelen. We hadden de zolderkamer, dat betekende wel elke dag een behoorlijke klim naar boven!

Sfeervol oud pand, mooi verbouwd als hotel-galerie. Lekkere bedden en fijne douche, prima ontbijt in een fraaie ruimte. Het is een gehorig huis: 2x 's nachts wakker geworden van pratende en boven ons stommelende gasten.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door eigenaresse. Kleinschalig (eigenlijk B&B). Goede en rustige ligging in leuk (oud) deel van Maastricht op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden, restaurants etc. Prettige, ruime kamer. Houd er rekening mee dat de bovenste kamers op zolder liggen en geen airco hebben. Kan dus warm worden.

Leuke locatie en een mooie galerie op de begane grond, ruime kamers en sfeervol ingericht. We hadden een kamer op de bovenste verdieping met een prachtig uitzicht. De hoeveelheid trappen die je moet lopen als je op de bovenste verdieping zit.
