The location was perfect - right in the centre of the old town near the university, the Jan Van Eyck Academie and the city fortifications. It was great to stay in a hotel that doubled as an art gallery - very quirky! We stayed in the top loft room and it was spacious and quiet. Very close to some wonderful bars and restaurants too. Staff was very helpful and chatty.

This hotel functions as an art gallery with a small number of rooms upstairs-- the location in Maastricht is excellent---on a quiet square, lots of local people, great restaurants a few blocks (however you define a few cobblestones narrow streets from the 17th and 18th centuries!). You can walk just about anywhere or you can join the locals and rent bikes. My husband and l loved our stay.

Excellent location No lift. Had to haul luggage up several flights of stairs. Silly prices of extras - 15 Euros each per day for ordinary breakfast (cooked option was a boiled egg) and 15 Euros per day for difficult parking.

We werden heel gastvrij ontvangen. Kregen meteen goeie tips. We hadden een hele gezellige kamer in de nok van het huis, waar je de oude balken nog kon zien. Gemoedelijke sfeer. Vriendelijke en behulpzame beheerders. Ontbijt ook prima verzorgd. Is 15 euro voor ontbijt een gangbare prijs?

Le Galerie Hôtel Dis est un endroit charmant très bien situé pour visiter Maastricht.La possibilité d'une place de parking est un atout dans une ville dont le centre est difficilement praticable en voiture.Il vaut mieux avoir un plan détaillé pour trouver l'hôtel.Nous avions une chambre spacieuse sous les toits, décorée avec beaucoup de soin et très confortable ( par contre ,il faut monter à pieds les 5 étages). Le propriétaire est très sympathique et accueillant .Il nous a conseillé de bons restaurants pour le soir et nous a donné des indications pour visiter la ville.Le petit déjeuner ,dans un cadre magnifique ,est excellent.Je recommande cet hôtel vraiment très agréable.

Geweldig hotel, comfortabele kamer en een goede ligging. Enige nadeel is geen lift, maar dat is normaal in oude woningen. De prijs is wat hoog, maar dat is ook normaal in vergelijking met andere hotels in dezelfde omgeving van Maastricht. Ik vind de prijzen voor al deze hotels aan de hoge kant.

Perfekt gelegen in het historisch centrum van Maastricht in een prachtig gerenoveerd pand. Vriendelijke eigenaar, mooi ingerichte kamers, rustig gelegen, lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt buffet in een prachtige ontbijtzaal met hele mooie kunstwerken aan de muren. Nieuwe en schone sanitair voorzieningen. Zoals in vaak het geval is, is de kamer erg gehorig. Trappen, sleutels in de deuren, boven buren, je hoort het allemaal. Trouwens 1 van de huisregels is: geen schoenen aan in de kamers.

Wij konden gelukkig later inchecken dan de aangegeven incheck tijd op de site. Door het hotel werd een handige oplossing geboden om s'nachts het hotel binnen te komen. Onze kamer was zeer ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Bovendien was de kamer designvol ingericht! Het ontbijt was erg uitgebreid en verassend goed en het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Wij hoorden helaas, bij het voldoen van de rekening, pas welke parkeermogelijkheden er waren.
