Lovely, comfortable and high quality hotel next to sand dunes and the beautiful Zuiderstrand (beach). An excellent personal service. The hotel is situated near by the city centre of Zoutelande.A perfect basis for nice cycling tours around Walcheren and cities like Middelburg, Veere and Vlissingen.

Beside picturesque villages and lively shopping streets you can cycle for hours or go hiking along stunning paths, along the beaches and through the dunes of Walcheren.
Walcheren's coast line is home to a number of popular spa towns. Domburg has been a family spa town for years, with daily activities for the young and old being organized during the summer. These activities include a market for tourism once a week, horseback riding and treasure hunts.
In addition, this village offers various shops, restaurants and cafés.
Domburg is the oldest spa town, a well-known spa town where high society and artists used to stay. Vlissingen’s attraction is its long and wide boulevard. Middelburg, Zeeland’s capital, has approximately 1000 monuments. A guided city tour leads you along lively memories from the past. The century-old abbey is the highlight on this tour. The buildings are being used by the province of Zeeland and the Sea Museum.
Travel information
De Distel in Zoutelande is easily reachable through the A-58 to Middelburg. Apart from the famous beach the there are many options to choose from when you want to go out. The cities of Middelburg, Veere and Flushing with the Arsenal area (arsenaalgebied) are definitely worth visiting. Cycling tours around Walcheren with its beautyful country side. You will not get easily get bored around here!
