Dorint Hotel Amsterdam Airport  

The shuttle pickup from the airport was 30 minutes late. Very disappointing after a long international flight.

Close to the airport, relatively large, quiet rooms. Very clean.

Front desk staff decent but could have been a little more attentive to the requests that were made during reservation. I booked two rooms as this is the only way to accomodate 4 people in many parts of Europe - needed two connecting rooms (this was specifically spelled out months ago to accomodate my family of 4). They initially provided two rooms that were not connected. Girl at the desk seemed very confused as to why this was unacceptable so I had to explain in detail why my 12 and 10 year old should not be placed on a different floor away from us.

Extremely quiet, well designed (heated bathroom floors!) rooms,everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. The 24/7 pub had good, less expensive breakfast options available other than the 26 euro buffet. Free airport shuttle was easy to access and efficient.

Our room door cards had expired before we checked out in the morning and staff required that we return all the way back to the reception desk to have them reprogrammed before we could reenter our room after breakfast. Since the hotel is large and timing for the shuttle to return to the airport was short, this was very inconvenient.Staff gave no good reason as to why this had happened. Hotel is in a somewhat sterile, office building neighborhood. One could walk to a neighboring wooded nature area but road construction complicated this.

We would have liked a queen bed rather than 2 beds pushed together.

We were travelling further the next day so this was a nice way to break up a long journey. Very nice hotel short distance to Schipol airport, nice swimming pool and sauna. It has everything you need for a short stay.

Rooms were comfortable enough, gym and sauna. Good connection with the airport. OK for a short business stay.

Small bathroom, not very clean toilet. No atmosphere, which is expected for airport hotel of course with lots of people checking in and checking out all the time.

Very modern, clean, efficient, convenient with nice amenities and a great varied breakfast. The shuttle to the airport is wonderful. I stayed one night because I needed to go the airport in the morning (for me I preferred to stay in city center the days before that); however I noticed many people/families who were taking the shuttle to the airport in order to go into the city via train. I can see why, the hotel is great value and spacious and comfortable.

Problem at checkout when the bill did not reflect the deposit that had already been paid.

All the items was placed and organized practically. The meal at the bar is acceptable and not to expensive however the choice is restricted. You can take a walk at the forest not to far from the hotel. The sound-proofing of the hotel is really good.

The internet speed is low and lower at the evening depends on the traffic. The restaurant is expensive and the meals quantity is small however the quality is good.

Very good restaurant. The sorbet was fantastic! Also the main course I had! Very, very, very good restaurant! The first shuttle leaves at 6 a.m. which was early enough for me.

Expensive breakfast

I like the fact that it is quiet, despite being on the fringe of the airport, that the room is clean and fresh,that the amenities are replenished daily and that it feels really good to come back to after a day of excursion elsewhere. Best of all, I like the free wi- fi in the room.
