Second stay here. Book it for the Balcony rooms.
Beds are a bit hard if im being honest
Location & cleaniness
Hotel was nice. Staffs were very nice, friendly and helpful . Delicious complimentary cookies when check in or if you ask for. Centraal station was just 5 mins walk. Starbucks coffee on the ground floor. Nice restaurant. Sky lounge, Free wifi but not really worked but for me no problem because I had internet package cover so didn't need it. Room very clean. All was ok for me except tne noise outside if the room. But I still will come and stay here again.
Single bed maybe too small also blanket for man. Bathroom not so comfortable not enough space for women beauty. Soundproof was bad you could here everything outside of the room. When I was there some of guests (women) were chatting noisy 5 am probably just came back or so and they kept open- close door room oftenly. My room located next to store for house keeping so hear everything when they worked. upper floor sounded like somebody moving chair or table. Maybe just that I had no luck. Outside you could hear trains as the railway was just on the back side of hotel.but as I said I will come back again as those thing for me not big deal.
The staff were very friendly and professional. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone.
I felt standards were dropped when staff allowed a lady in pyjamas and possibly her child (around 11yrs) to go to breakfast in a dressing gown!!!
Bar and staff
Way too hard beds for my taste at least
Location and the pricfest
Price and the furniture
Ask a silence Room with a king size bed. Gave me a Room on the railway, close to the top floor where is a music club all night long.
they charged me twice the room and I have been fighting a week to get money back
Everything is new and clean, the room view is perfect
This was a perfect location and hotel for our 1st year wedding anniversary! After booking, I called and was offered an upgrade for only $30 extra per night and it was well worth it as the breakfast alone was about $30 a day. The upgrade included access to the Executive Lounge which was open a few hours in the am and pm for complimentary appetizers, food and drinks (beer, wine, and champagne)! The view from Room 1008 is amazing as you get canal and city view. The hotel itself was quiet, and the staff were beyond friendly. Thank you to Samantha at the front desk for arranging a special handwritten anniversary card and champagne for my wife and I on the night of our arrival. Very nice touch that definitely complements the Hilton brand. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go and all of the main attractions were not far away. The location was amazing, and the parking deck is attached to the hotel! At the 10 Euros we paid per day, it was a steal! We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Amsterdam!
The temperature of the room at night in 1008 seemed to fluctuate although we set it to the highest heat setting possible. There was no flat sheet on the bed, only a blanket that was tucked so tightly we didn't realize until the next am that it wasn't attached to the bed itself. It was no issue though, we just requested an additional blanket and it was brought to us right away.
The maids we're rude even though we had paid for late check out was letting themselves in whilst we was sleeping
Hotel was lovely ,good location ,staff excellent Just thought the room costs and drink costs in sky lounge where way over the top
Very clean room and the staffs are great. I love the Bar at the rooftop.
Under staff when we checked out. It took them so long to entertain us and we need to catch an early morning train. But I think it was not intentional.
Super friendly staffs and delicious welcome Cookies for every guests. Location is superb! 5 mins walking distance from Amsterdam Centraal.
They don't have bell boy service to carry our luggage. It's a bit troublesome for us traveling with an infant and an elder, while no one helping us with the luggage.
Warm cookies when you do the check in - but just 1 :(
The room was really cold (we tried the air con but didn't help much). Take tea from home (because is not good at all). The breakfast price (too much money)...
Friendly staff and very very well equipped room, iMac, wifi, fridge, kettle etc.
Extremely posh, didn't feel very comfortable as a 22 y/o couple, lots of funny looks from guests and staff alike
The views from the room and location, near to all transport, the lobby bar staff were efficient. The reception staff were helpful with local information.
The service in the sky lounge Friday 13th Feb was appalling.
Room service, we order 2 pizza's but they were almost cold when they arrived.
Apple TV in each room
Deception was always busy, Staff on the phone, free cookie contains nuts! Confusing entrance to hotel
The hotel is situated very close to the main tourist area of Amsterdam and most places are within easy walking distance.
The lobby bar closes too early (11pm) and if you would like a nightcap you will have to go to the very top of the hotel to the Sky Lounge which is a very loud nightclub that is open to the general public.
Warm welcome on arrival with friendly staff on hand to answer any questions. Free Cookies on arrival for all guests was very welcome and the free bottled water from reception.
