Spacious apartments (smoking and non-smoking) in the centre of Amsterdam. The studios and apartments are located in a quiet alley, around the corner of the famous Warmoestraat and only a few minutes walk from Central Station.
We want to give you a warm welcome in beautiful Amsterdam, in our cosy English Pub/Meetingspoint Bar Pimpelmee (cooperation) and hope that you enjoy your stay in one of our quiet self catering apartments or studios (refurnished in September 2007). The accommodations are right in the centre of the city, so you can easily walk to all attractions Amsterdam has to offer. No needs for public transfer or taxi's.

There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.

Hotel information

These self catering apartments/studios have existed since 1991. They have a modern design, are fully furnished and very practical. The furnishing of the accommodation has been chosen with great care, in order to offer a charming and homely atmosphere. The double-glazed windows ensure you a quiet and soundproof accommodation.

Easy Centre Apartments Amsterdam is located in the Heintje Hoekssteeg, a pedestrian area and a small residential alley connecting the Warmoesstraat and the Oude Zijdsvoorburgwal. The accommodation is also just around the corner of the Central Railway Station, close to the Dam's Square and at the border of the famous Red Light District.

Food & beverage

We don’t offer breakfasts and either services of bar or restoration for the apartments. The apartments are of self catering.

Room information

There are different types of accommodations, it is possible to request a preference for one of the accommodations, but we cannot give you a guarantee if this can be carried out due the time tables already booked or not.

Apartments:

1 apartment type A. with 1 double bedroom doubles for 2 people an individual room for 1 person sofa-bed for 2 people at the living room. The toilet is separated from the bathroom with a shower and a sink, an American kitchen in the corner of the living room and an external balcony.

2 apartments type B with bedroom double for 2 people and an individual room for 1 person separately. There is a bathroom with a shower and a sink. American Kitchen in the living room and an external balcony.

1 Apartment type C (penthouse-flat). An enormous room for 2 people; sofa-bed for 2 people in the living room with the kitchen on the corner, the bathroom with the shower and the sink with just toilet.

The Studio:

We have 2 studios very comfortable, are divided in two parts living room and space to sleep (with a double bed), the kitchen that this is separate by a small wall and at the side is the bathroom (with shower).

Very important: All our apartments include cable tv (English, Dutch, Italian, French and Spanish), the stereo radio and with CD reader, a coffee machine, refrigerator, toaster, microwaves oven. You can always rent by a reasonable price: a safe-box, video-recorder or DVD. Hairdryers for the ladies on request

Amsterdam is without any shadow of doubt one of the most fascinating cities of the world. What ever reason brings you here, you will love this city. It offers you impressive culture, inspiring art, cosy markets and beautiful flowers. A five minute walk to the central station puts you at the hub of city's tram routes, metros, busses and Canal sightseeing boats. It is also your departure point for coach and rail connections throughout the Netherlands and Europe.

There are in the area of our accommodations shops for baked goods, coffee and tea, flowers and other necessities, restaurants, bars and coffee shops are all around. For groceries there is an big Albert Heijn `Supermarket behind the royal Palace , while the internet Cafe easy Everything ( open 24 hours) can be found 5 minutes walk at the Damrak

Please note: The published rate is for 2 persons, the costs for the third and the fourth person is not automatically calculated in the total costs.

Accommodations are not suitable for children and handicapped people due to stairs (no elevator).

Always Cash payment of the total costs of stay on arrival day. For reservations of 4 nights and more, a non-refundable prepayment of 30% is required and special conditions apply. And also for reservations of 2 apartments and more.

Please let the accommodation know of your arrival time in advance, as there is no reception desk, just a meeting point at the Bar Pimpelmee, Warmoesstraat 45, on the corner of Heintje Hoekssteeg . When you arrive, please call the mobile phone numbers mentioned in the e-mail confirmation message. Inform us always about your arrival time, also when you are delayed.

location of the apartment

location of the apartment was central, but not for a family with older children. it was very noisy as there were street parties outside. and the apartment was not very clean.

the apartment was very well laid out and the space was excellent. lots of good electrical appliances and utensils/pots/cutlery etc

would have been nice to have had an ironing board and access to the balcony off the lounge area.toilet at front door gave off a strange smell. had to keep the door closed at all times.

The apartment was very central and a good size. It was down a fairly quiet street and so there was little noise at night in the alley outside. With the exception of there not being an iron it was very well equipped (including a good shower) and is tastefully decorated. We liked it very much.

Sehr gute Lage, zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Freundliches Personal.

Sauberkeit recht unterschiedlich. Räumlichkeiten, Geschirr, usw. werden wohl nur durch die Gäste gereinigt. Das erklärt auch die sehr unterschiedlichen Bewertungen bezüglich Sauberkeit. Eine regelmässige Grundreinigung durch den Anbieter würde das Problem lösen.

La situation de l'appartement.

La appartement n'était pas de tout propre. Faites attention aux coûts cachés supplémentaires : 150 € si vous perdez une clé, 100 euros si vous ne nettoyez pas bien l'appartement en partant...Je vous assure que si une de ces choses vous arrivent, vous aurez du mal a joindre le propriétaire pour discuter, et a la fin, vous devrez payer..... (même si une copie de clé coute 2 euros !!)
