I thought that the beds were especially comfortable, and the breakfasts were also of the highest quality. |

The staff and the "little things" in the rooms... :-) I want to make this clear... The Staff, the rooms and amenities are great, please don't change this, but the price may be just a "little" too much, not by alot, but just a little. Also, internet is very common now of days and not hard to get access to it, therefore, most hotels offer it free of charge, the days of making guests pay for internet really should be gone. It also was not too polite to say that internet is free but then we I arrived and logged in, only limited "Kigabite" access was free and if you wanted broadband access, you had to pay. Paying to watch television definately was not good guys !!! |

The hotel is very well located, with all main attractions within easy reach. The bed was very comfortable. The common areas, particularly the corridors/stairs/lift areas were a bit run down and gave a bad impression before we even entered our room for the first time. A laundry trolley was left in the corridor all day and just gave a less than 4* impression. The room was comfortable and the housekeeping OK but the walls and especially the carpet were very marked and dirty. Toiletries were not replaced once (3 night stay). The room we stayed in had one small window in the corner so was quite dark. On the last morning workmen were on the roof outside our room quite early and they were making a lot of noise. Our room was located beside the marble staircase - I would suggest some carpet!! |

Location and Quality of rooms Internet to the rooms - wifi and free would be the cherry on top of the cake. Sinage of the hotel was non existant!! We were dropped off by a taxi driver - would not have ever found the hotel if not....were droped off at the back of hotel and only discoverd they had a front the next day....seems silly its a fact...they have 2 receptions!!!! Dont figure. |

Location and efficiency of hotel and staff. Conceriege was particualrly helpful. We would have preferred to have brakfast in hotel but additional cost was prohibitive so hotel looses revenue and cstomer convenience |

The hotel is well-located. It does look nice and the price is a little expensive, but it is fair. |

The staff were all very friendly, attentive and paid attention to details. It was my first time staying there in Amsterdam and I will come back and recommend it to all of my friends--coonnections witth the tram card are easy and you can walk to the Dam square on a nice day in 20 minutes. No other than the pricing was a little higher than what I have been paying but it is a big city. |

Great location just of of Rembrandt Square and within easy walking distance of Amsterdam city center. No window drapes over frosted bathroom windows made it difficult to keep out the morning sun. |

Comfort of bed is unrivaled. Style and decoration of room is very nice. Facilities overall are decent My room was cleaned once in 3 days. Room service is not as good as expected from a highly priced hotel with lots of stars. I think it would be justified more if the stars were less and the price was -30% |

The hotel had dropped the level of service since last time, so next time I will choose another hotel, Dust hanging from the ceiling, no changing of coffe-cups or glasses while cleaning, I made a written statement to the hotel, they offered me to refund drinks from the minibar (8 euros) a bit cheap I think |

The location, the modern room with all facilities. Its the second time i've stayed there. The hotels Internet printing facilty wasn't working (which I needed to print my flight boarding cards), however the concierge was very helpful and did this for me using his own PC terminal. |

The positive point is It is centrally located. The internet access is free which is quiet good as well. I paid 200E for a very small room in a noisy area... which is not worth the price I paid. You can stay in a better hotel for less.... |

the hotel upgraded me to a nicer room after overbooking and not having a room for me the first night, I appreciated the effort. The overbooking should not have happened and hope it does not happen again! |
