Location with good safe parking Dreadful dining experience very very slow service from the kitchen and grossly overpriced. The bar manager rang our room at 12.30am when I was asleep to request a signiture on my bar bill, despite the fact I was staying two nights and they had my credit card details, he then appeared at our bedroom door holding pen and paper, we were not ammused. A great deal of street noise late at night and from 5.30. There were no curtains on some of the windows so the room was filled with sunlight from dawn onwards

The outside facade was lovely, the availability of an indoor pool was good and the location was really good. Although it is across from the train station it was quiet in the rooms and we could take a walk into the city center right from the hotel. The hallways were falling apart, unkept and badly renovated. The pool area did not have any chairs or anything to put our towels on, also it was badly lit. The room had dust, especially under the bedside lights, which was not cleaned even after housekeeping came.

The "standard" room that we booked for eur 135/night without breakfast was unacceptable: very austere environment, dirty curtains, broken floor and only hangers in the closet, no place to put your shirts, underwear, etc. We had to upgrade and pay extra to get a liveable environment.

The room we had had lots of space. We actually had a living room downstairs with an extra toilet and then the bedroom upstairs with a separate bathroom. It was an ideal spot for our Maastricht weekend! Being across the road from the station entrance made it perfect for our train travel. The hotel and the rooms were not beautiful. A little freshening up with the use of colour would be nice.

Location to the station I was staying in room 314 which is in the old section of the hotel. It looks very dated and the room I was in had the 70ties look. Only the bathroom was good. I understand that the new section is very nice but if I have to make the decision to return to this hotel on last weeks stay I would not return. You cannot have these major variances in one product

The location is good, near the city centre, although right across the street from the bus station, so pretty noisy if you open the windows. The mattresses are way too soft. There is not enough light in the room if you want to do some reading.
