Location with good safe parking Dreadful dining experience very very slow service from the kitchen and grossly overpriced. The bar manager rang our room at 12.30am when I was asleep to request a signiture on my bar bill, despite the fact I was staying two nights and they had my credit card details, he then appeared at our bedroom door holding pen and paper, we were not ammused. A great deal of street noise late at night and from 5.30. There were no curtains on some of the windows so the room was filled with sunlight from dawn onwards

1)The very low wattage of the roomlights hardly enables confortable reading ! 2)a soapdistributor replaces the usual soap/shampoo facilities 3)the "deluxe" room was dark because of very narrow windows (20 cm)

The hotel was comfortable and a room at the back is very quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. It is right opposite the Central Station and close to the shops, restaurants etc. It is also good for working at the mecc which was the purpose of my visit. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is a little tired and faded and needs modernisation. Breakfast at 17 euros always seems expensive.

They gave us a free upgrade to one of their penthouse rooms. It was very comfortable. The swimming pool was very pleasant. Everything was in good order and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and efficient. It did not have a wide variety of TV channels

across the street from the main railway station, check in was quick and hassle free, swimming pool was to die for, totally unexpected. i thought the breakfast price a bit pricey although it was a buffet style and there was plenty of selection

Very close to the station and easy to find Lobby very luxurious Clean rooms It doesn't deserve the 4 stars rate, but the 3 stars rate: The rooms were not so big and the bathroom very basic.

The choice was made since this hotel is virtually opposite the railway station entrance at Maastricht. While not the cheapest place to stay in Maastricht, it saved further transport costs due to the closeness to the station. There is a bus terminus and taxi rank between the hotel and the station making facilities for onward journeys conveniently placed The restaurant in the hotel provided a gourmet menu, albeit limited. The food when it arrived was first class! I would describe the hotel as being "old style" both in appearance and facilities, but nevertheless my stay was warm and comfortable, and despite the closeness of the road outside and the railway station, very quiet
