This historic castle, parts of which date from the 16th-century, is situated in Elsloo only a 20-minute drive from Maastricht. Kasteel Elsloo benefits from free Wi-Fi and a rural setting. Hotel- en Restaurant Kasteel Elsloo offers rooms with cable TV and a private bathroom including a shower and hairdryer. Some of the rooms include views over the surrounding countryside. The Belgian border is a 5-minute drive from Kasteel Elsloo. The German city of Aachen is less than 30 minutes away by car. Maastricht-Aachen Airport is 5 km away from the hotel. The old stone building which has been renovated to offer modern amenities. Great building, great garden. Luxurious appearance at reasonable cost. Due to the original design, stairs are narrow and no elevator

Excellent location and atmosphere in a beautiful surroundings. Quality restaurant. Rooms a little out fashioned and dated services in the room. First room bathroom (no windows or ventilation) was very smelly. So changed the room. Ended up with a very nice room with a view so we were happy.

Hotel grounds picturesque and quiet. Staff very friendly and accomadating. Food of very high standard. The location of the Hotel did not suit our purposes. Only found out on arrival that Hotel was designed for Business and Weddings,not for a Holiday base of more than 2-3 days,local area very industrial,nothing to do locally.

Hotel has a big territory with park, botanic garden, lake, river, forest. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. Staff is veeeery friendly and helpful! (They were so kind to provide me an iPhone charger). The room inside is quite cosy and has all you would expect in a hotel. Hotel is situated just 15 min. drive (through a picturesque forest road) from Maastricht. Very good option for overnight stay if you want to spend a couple of days site-seeing in Maastricht. I would not recommend the top (2nd) floor. WiFi didn't work in the room on the 2nd floor (although 1st and ground floors -- no problem). The window in the room was too small and too high, I had to climb up the chair to open it and to look outside.

Le cadre le restaurant, correct mais assez cher Confort très moyen (très petite chambre, vieille tv avec peu de chaînes, wifi quasi inexistant dans les chambres) bref, 2** maximum 3 erreurs dans la facture!!

Wij vonden het een hele mooie locatie en hebben heerlijk geslapen,s'morgens vroeg op en na een heerlijk ontbijt weer verder lopen naar Maastricht niets
