I was very happy with the hotel as we just wanted a relaxing weekend . The hotel was very clean . It was near all the major attractions and within walking distance to everything around Amsterdam. Room was clean . Tea/Coffee and sweets available 24/7 in the lobby and cakes available in the afternoon free of charge. Internet available free of charge . Room was a tiny bit small but it was still nice . It was a little expensive for the Hotel as breakfast was not included and cost an extra 16€ per person . |

excellent location and ambient, very cosy lobby with aquarium, classical and quite romantic design, nice atmosphere created by the library, common area decoration and the complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, desserts, friendly staff especially in the front desk, clean and confortable room, good breakfast although a bit overpriced, fine tableware, very quiet area 405 needs some improvements in the shower and bathroom area, the floor is vibrating |

Location was great. Room was a nice size. Bath was large and very clean. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary hot chocolate at the end of each day. |

The hotel was wonderful!!! We loved everything about it. The rooms were cozy and well decorated. The hotel has a great coffee/hot chocolate machine that was a pluse. |

Nice hotel with great location to the Dam The noise level outside our bedroom window was unbearable during the night. There were people screaming, yelling etc until 4AM in the morning. We were unable to sleep for four nights. For us to return to the hotel a quieter room would need to be assigned. |

The whole experience was very pleasant. The breakfast was good and the afternoon complementary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies were a lovely pick-me-up at the end of sught-seeing. |

1)Very friendly helpful staff2)excellent central,elegant but peaceful location.3)friendly staff4)hotel has 2 scooters for use by guests- idealform of transport in amsterdam Weekend tariff a little expensive & breakfast at 16.00 euros per head seems a lot-we had breakfast at a nearby cafe for half the price.the floor boards above creaked when the occupants above were active! Otherwise very comfortable. |

V central ideal for walking the city & shopping & restaurants.lovely part of town.perfect location would defo book again. so comfortable warm & friendly. lovely little bar(snug) round the corner called Goolem. recommend |

Excellent location. Staff friendly and efficient. Room very cosy, nicely decorated, clean. My room was overlooking the canal. Complimentary tea and coffee (and biscuits and sweets !) 24/7 next to reception (a very good selection of Pickwick teas - I recommend the "Rooibos", a South African tea). Cosy area for reading newspapers (major international newspapers available) |

Tea/coffee facilities available free all day, very nice decor and good atmosphere. Very noisey -people passing room and hoovering from early morning. Room, while excellantly decorated was quite small for the price. |

Well appointed hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Complimentary hot drinks in the comfortable lobby were a decided plus. Breakfast was expensive. Room was rather small - it would have been nice to have one of the rooms with a canal view. |
