Nicely decoratec, excellent breakfast, 24h free water and coffee. The hotel is located in three old Amsterdam houses, you can hear the floor cracking when your neighbour wakes up in the morning and walks around in his room. |

Best location in the city, three blocks from the Dam Place but still quietly situated on the innermost canal. The hotel is beautifully decorated in a luxurious but tasteful manner. The rooms/bath are very nice and well equipped. The breakfast was expensive (but good value considering the quality). This hotel is nicer than many hotels costing four times as much, and hands down the best one we stayed at during our two week trek through Europe. Warning: city parking within walking distance cost 45 euro/24h !!!!! |

the location was good but the room was not big the hotel should provide coffee & tea makers in the room itself, we had to go to the lobby area for tea & coffee. |

The hotel was very European. Small but comfortble room. Right on the canal and close to shopping and restaurants. Air conditioning was not working. |

Our room faced the canal and it was wonderful! We woke the first morning and saw reflections from the buildings accross the way on the calm waters that were picture perfect! The hotel's location was so close to everything we wanted to see and do. It's location on a quite street was perfect for relaxing and sleeping. Expensive put very worth the money spent. |

Professional staff, and very nice and clean room - albeit rather small, but that applies for most hotel rooms in Amsterdam, I guess. The key system is a bit oldfashioned.I would prefer a keycard rather than having to bring the key to the receptionist every time I had to leave the hotel room. |
